WORK PAPERS
Automatic Documents
You can now conveniently calculate totals for selected rows in automatic documents. Select
multiple rows to activate this feature. A tooltip bubble appears below the last selected entry
displaying the totals for each column based on the sum of the selected entries.
Introducing dual-screen support for Working Papers. You can now "pop-out" tabbed frames in
the Working Papers interface. These frames become their own desktop window and you can
re-position and expand these windows as necessary. The option Desktop Window is available
by right-clicking on the tab of an automatic document.
Added the ability to sort automatic documents by column. Click a column heading to quickly
sort a column and click again to reverse the sort order. Also, a drop-down menu enables you to
customize sorting behavior and save your sort settings. If you add sort settings, these settings
are applied globally across the entire file and will be printed in this order as well.
Added new automatic document type Journals - All Other Entries, which displays entries from
all Other Entries journals. This document includes an additional column, Source that displays
the two-letter journal identification (ID).
PAPERLESS
Enhanced support for copying external documents between client files using drag-and-drop.
When dragging a document onto a placeholder or manual document you now have the option
of replacing or inserting this document in the new client file.
A Tool Tip that indicates the operation (Copy to) and the folder information where the file
will be placed.
A solid black line indicates the position where the document will be placed.
The black line also shows the indent to indicate the level in the file tree where the
document will be placed. This enables users to clearly see if the document will be placed
within a folder or at the same level as the folder.
PDF Export
Added the option to include watermarks when saving external documents, CaseView documents,
and Automatic documents in PDF. In the Save As PDF dialog, click the Advanced button to access
the watermark options
