Preface
This booklet was developed from a teaching to a live audience and
has been kept in a conversational format. It is designed to reach a
personal level with the reader rather than present a structured,
theological presentation. Many times the reader will feel that
Pastor Henry is talking directly to him/her. The frequent use of the
pronoun you is meant to penetrate the human heart for conviction,
not for accusation. Pastor Henry has been called to the office of
pastor, and as such, he takes care of Gods flock (whereas one
called to the office of teacher does not take care of the sheep). The
purpose of this booklet is to open your heart to a daily Walk Out to
wholeness using the 8 Rs to Freedom.

INTRODUCTION
hen there is disease in our lives we need to

examine ourselves to determine if there is
sin within us. Eighty percent of our diseases are the
fruit of our participating with the sin that is within! We
need to identify the root, the spiritual root, of our
disease and come to a place of repentance. This teaching
on the 8 Rs to Freedom will give you steps to walk out
of your disease. These steps are Recognize,
Responsibility, Repent, Renounce, Remove, Resist,
Rejoice, and Restore.
This booklet will teach you how to take a journey
down a highway to health with the 8 Rs to Freedom as
signposts along the way. The 8 Rs are scripturally based
concepts designed to be tools. Each R brings you from
thought and understanding into freedom. They are
progressive because you can start at the beginning of
the list and work through it, gaining freedom as you
apply these principles.
We have received a number of letters and emails
from people all over the world who have applied these

principles. They have written down the steps to the 8 Rs

and referred to them every day in their Christian walk.
They have pasted them in the front of their Bible and
posted them on their refrigerator. No one talked to
them or prayed for them. As they applied the 8 Rs to
their life, God met them.
These people are well today because they had the
right tools to work with. They are standing strong and
growing up in their own faith.
Below is the testimony of J.B. She did not come to
Georgia and no one prayed for her. She read about
these principles, applied them to her life and was
healed.
TESTIMONY OF HEALING FROM UTERINE
CANCER
I was diagnosed with Stage III uterine cancer
in April of 2003. My doctor advised chemotherapy treatments so I agreed to the first
two. I lost my hair and almost 25 pounds. I
felt awful. I was scared to continue with
more treatments and didnt know how I
could keep on working as a real estate
broker. A friend gave me the booklet
New Insights into Cancer and I read it twice in
one evening.
I began to realize the importance of
forgiving others and that I had to get rid of
bitterness toward my ex-son-in-law. It was
like a light bulb going off in my head. I had
to forgive him and I did. It happened in the

driveway of my home just before he left my

11-year-old grandson for a visit with me.
They were both in shock when I told him I
was sorry and that I loved him. We both
cried as we hugged each other. Wow!
This was on a Thursday, the day after I read
the cancer booklet. The next day I went to
my appointment for chemotherapy treatment, and to the surprise of both my
oncologist and my radiologist, the cancer
had completely disappeared! A miracle!

DEFINITION OF WALK OUT
The 8 Rs are directives to move you from one
point to another. The first three Rs are critical to what is
going to happen. The remaining five Rs are part of what
we at Be in Health call walk out. Those who have been
to For My Life in Thomaston, Georgia, know walk out is
what we recommend after you have received ministry
and returned home.
Getting well is not always a light switch
experience. It is a journey that starts by turning from the
direction you were headed to a completely new
direction for a whole new life. It is a journey for the rest
of your life using the 8 Rs, perhaps daily.

NO KNOWLEDGE
Isaiah says, Gods people are held captive
because they have no knowledge.
Therefore my people are gone into captivity,
because they have no knowledge: and their
honourable men are famished, and their multitude
Isaiah 5:13
dried up with thirst.
This scripture is not addressed to the unsaved

because God is saying my people. The entire Bible is
about Gods people and how they did or did not
properly participate with Him. In order to avoid
captivity, as Gods people, it is important you have
knowledge in order to be able to Recognize or discern.
The Bible is full of instruction about the knowledge of
good and evil. One of the signs of maturity in Hebrews
is being able to handle strong meat by exercising your
senses to discern both good and evil.
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of
full age, even those who by reason of use have
their senses exercised to discern both good and
Hebrews 5:14
evil.
If you do not know something is evil, then how

can you Recognize it as a problem? You may think it is
just a psychological defect. For example Scripture tells
us, Fear is a spirit.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but
of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7
If you think Fear is a psychological defect

because it is just who you are, then you have become

one with Fear in both your spirit and your soul. You are
now going along with the mentality of that spirit of Fear
and not recognizing you should take those thoughts
captive.
Casting down imaginations, and every high
thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of
God, and bringing into captivity every thought to
2 Corinthians 10:5
the obedience of Christ;
The Word of God tells you that you have not

been given the spirit of Fear, but you have been given
power, love and a sound mind. Unless you understand
that behind your disease may be a spirit of Fear which
you have become one with as a way of life, you do not
know you can be set free.
You therefore go to a doctor who puts you on an
anti-anxiety drug, which is a beta-blocker that
circumvents the mind-body connection to the limbic
system. It short circuits the torment that comes with
Fear and lies to you, saying you are now free when in
fact you have not solved one thing.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth
out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth

is not made perfect in love.
You think you are free but you are now

bewitched and deluded into a false sense of security.
You think you have been cured, but the symptoms are
being managed. If you come off that drug long enough
you will be right back into your physical problems
again. That is why in Galatians witchcraft, pharmakeia or
sorcery, is called a work of the flesh.

the works of the flesh are manifest,

which
are
these;
Adultery,
fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20Idolatry,
witchcraft,
hatred,
variance,
emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings,
and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I
have also told you in time past, that they which
do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of
Galatians 5:19-21
God.
The Greek word for witchcraft is Strongs #5331,

pharmakeia, which means medication, pharmacy or by
extension, magic (literal or figurative) and is translated
sorcery or witchcraft in the King James Version.
Be in Health is not opposed to doctors or medicine, but it
is opposed to people taking a pill in order to bypass
their spiritual issues.
If you do not know behind high blood pressure
is an anxiety disorder of fear or worry about tomorrow
or what could go wrong tomorrow, how can you ever
overcome it? If you do not know behind asthma is Fear
of abandonment, how can you defeat it? If you do not
know behind congestive heart failure is Guilt, Selfhatred and Self-rejection, how can you defeat it? If you
do not know behind diabetes II is Fear, as in anxiety
and stress, how can you defeat it? What happens if you
are a believer and you have no knowledge? You go into
captivity. What does captivity produce? Eighty
percent of all our diseases!
TESTIMONY OF HEALING FROM COLIC
My daughter and son-in-law have a
daughter who had colic all night when they

brought her home from the hospital. Babies

with colic do not understand English; they
just know they have pain inside their
tummy.
My son-in-law came to me and looked a little
bleary eyed. Whats your problem, Scott? I
said.
I couldnt sleep all night.
Why?
Hannah has colic.
Oh, thats easy to deal with.
Thats easy for you to say.
No, no. It is time to grow up and
understand. Your daughter has inherited a
spirit of Fear. Thats the iniquity of the
generations, a familiar spirit, and a Fear of
abandonment. That night he and Sarah
prayed over Hannah and cast out Fear of
abandonment. She slept seven hours!
Do you know what the good news is? Little
Hannah never had colic again. When
Tabitha, their second daughter came along,
the first thing they did when they brought
her home was to set her before the Father by
faith. They cancelled the power of this
iniquity that was traveling in her generation.
Tabitha never had colic. This knowledge is
critical.

LACK OF KNOWLEDGE
AND REJECTED KNOWLEDGE
Hosea tells us, Gods people are destroyed for
lack of knowledge.
My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge:
because
thou
hast
rejected
knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt
be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the
law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Hosea 4:6
Gods people were destroyed because they did

not have His knowledge. In addition they did not even
use the knowledge they had been given. Those who
reject knowledge cannot be a priest and they are
causing their children to be forgotten by the Lord.
What is an example of what it means to reject
knowledge? Matthew 22 tells us to love the Lord our
God with all our heart, soul and mind and to love our
neighbor as ourselves.
37Jesus
said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord

thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind.
38This is the first and great commandment.
39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt
love thy neighbour as thyself.
40On these two commandments hang all the
Matthew 22:37-40
law and the prophets.
Obeying this scripture can be problematic for us.

What if J.B. (from the testimony of healing of uterine
cancer) had not forgiven her ex-son-in law?

We talked with J.B. a year after her healing and asked if

her ex-son-in-law had changed. She said, No, but now
I accept him as he is in his own pain and love him in the
Lord. When I was in my pain, I didnt realize his pain.
She is no longer taking his sin into her body.
Mark says if you from your heart do not forgive
your brother his trespasses, your Father in heaven will
not forgive you of your trespasses. Forgiving your
brother is a commandment of the Lord.
25And
when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye

have ought against any: that your Father also
which is in heaven may forgive you your
trespasses.
26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your
Father which is in heaven forgive your
Mark 11:25-26
trespasses.
Do we know that we are to forgive our brother?

Yes. Do we do it like we need to? No. We have this
mentality we will forgive sometime after we have seen
His judgment on them to our satisfaction. Then we may
say, They were wrong and I am right. We are
therefore forgetting the law of God.
I am sure you do not want to lose your priestly
calling. You may ask, Why would God reject me if I
reject His knowledge?
If we have not become an oracle for how God
thinks and what He has set forth in the earth, then we
absolutely have become an oracle for Satan. We cannot
preach Satans gospel and still be called Gods anointed
priesthood. If we do not forgive our brother, then we
are actually becoming a high priest for Satan in the area
of unforgiveness. That creates an open door for Satan to

oppress us and for God to resist us. God says in Hosea

you are no longer a priest to me. You have forgotten the
law of your God so I will also forget your children. This
law is also in Exodus 20:5 and Exodus 34:7. There are
consequences for our disobedience, and they affect our
children.
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor
serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous
God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the
children unto the third and fourth generation of
Exodus 20:5
them that hate me;
Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving
iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will
by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity
of the fathers upon the children, and upon the
children's children, unto the third and to the
Exodus 34:7
fourth generation.
If you want to protect your children and

grandchildren get right with God! If you want to curse
your children and grandchildren be a Christian rebel!
Practice the nature of Satan in your home and your
children will be carriers of your disobedience to the
third and fourth generation. We know you want to be a
blessing to your children and your household! You
have to practice being righteous and doing the right
thing.
A good way to break bad habits is to replace
them with new habits. It takes 28 days of practicing a
good, new habit for it to become ingrained as part of
your mentality. Many people do not give themselves
the time to walk out of bondage into the newness of life.
Hebrews says,

even those who by reason of use have their senses

exercised to discern both good and evil.
Discernment involves recognition. I want to help

you understand good and evil things from the first
heaven, the second heaven and the third heaven. If you
do not know Fear can cause you a problem with your
health, then you are ignorant. If you do not know
Bitterness can cause disease then you are ignorant and
you cannot walk out because you are not mature. You
may say, Well, Im going to heaven.
You may be going to heaven, but you are not a
mature saint. The Bible says, In that day you will be
known as you are known.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but
then face to face: now I know in part; but then
shall I know even as also I am known.
1 Corinthians 13:12
I have personally made up my mind when I get

to that day, I do not want to be known in eternity as a
rebellious, argumentative, incorrigible, unteachable and
sinning saint. The Bible says, Judgment begins at the
house of God.
17For
the time is come that judgment must

begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at
us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the
gospel of God?
18And if the righteous scarcely be saved,
where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
1 Peter 4:17-18
If you are filled with strife as a believer then you

will be known by your ways. If you are someone who

would not forgive others then you will be known by

your ways.
Depending on your ways, your spirituality,
curses or blessings come upon you and your children.
Your ways are your righteousness, your thoughts,
words and actions as a spiritual being.
If I were a troublemaker as a believer then when
I get to heaven, here is what I might hear: Hello,
troublemaker, glad you could make it. Now it is time
for judgment. The Bible teaches this very clearly. Most
of the church is waiting to get to heaven to be rid of the
responsibility of Repentance. No, we will not avoid
Repentance because we will stand before Him and He
will look us straight in the eyes. He will talk to each of
us about our own personal sin. If we have been talking
against our mother-in-law as a believer, then when we
get to heaven the Lord will say, Tell me about your
mother-in-law.
I love my mother-in-law.
The Lord might say to Gabriel, Would you hit
that playback button, please? Here is your voice and
what you said about your mother-in-law. The Bible says
every idle word you have said is held in judgment
against you.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that
men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in
Matthew 12:36
the day of Judgment.
That verse can drive heaven right into us and

hell right out of us. It is your choice whether heaven or
hell stays in you today. It is your choice to be an
obedient son or daughter of God.

The only difference between you and an evil

spirit within you is that you can Repent and it cannot.
In days past, perhaps you were a disobedient spirit, but
today hopefully you are an obedient spirit.
Because you believe God and because you
Repent for your sins you are now a friend of God. You
are no longer interested in becoming an oracle for Satan.
Make a list of what you discern
in yourself that is not of God

1. RECOGNIZE
he first thing you must do before you can be

free is Recognize you have a problem. If you
do not Recognize you can never be free. If you do not
Recognize the connection between your spirituality,
your thoughts and your disease then you can never be
free. The first of the 8 Rs is Recognize. We have to
Recognize what is behind our bondage. We teach
theology of disease and pathways of disease so people
can Recognize the root behind their disease.
You must learn to discern what is within you
that is not of God. It will always manifest by thoughts,
feelings, emotions and direction. It will try to help us
think, to help us speak, to help us act, but it does not
represent Gods freedom for our lives. If you become
one with something as if it were truly you, God cannot
heal you. Paul taught in Romans 7 Fear is called sin and
that it is not who you are. You may have a spirit of Fear
but you are not a spirit of Fear. You may have disease
but you are not a disease.
Recognize what is flowing within you that you
have allowed to become part of who you are. Repent to
God for allowing yourself to become a servant to that
sin. If you, as a called being, have become a servant to
sin then you have become a living example of what
Paul is referring to in Romans chapter 6.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves

servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye
obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience
Romans 6:16
unto righteousness?
Your battle is not against flesh and blood. Your

battle is against principalities, powers, rulers of
darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
The first thing you have to do is Recognize what

is behind your problem. Proverbs says,
As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by
flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
Proverbs 26:2
The curse is the disease and problems. We are

looking for the doorpoint where the enemy accessed
you and began to teach you his ways. It could have
been generational; you could have inherited it. Hell also
can access the believer, a covenant person, because of
ignorance. You must Recognize. God has called you to
discernment.
It is of utmost importance we Recognize
thoughts separating us from the Father, from the Son,
and/or from the Holy Ghost. We must Recognize
thoughts separating us from our godly value system
and from ourselves. Additionally, thoughts separating
us from another person need to be Recognized as well
because they are not of God. We want you to
understand what needs to be Recognized. We love to
quote Hebrews.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful,

and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing
even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of
the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
The Word of God PENETRATES our joints and

marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
our heart. One of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1
Corinthians 12 is discerning of spirits. What good does
it do for you to discern an evil spirit if you cannot do
anything about it?
To another the working of miracles; to another
prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to
another divers kinds of tongues; to another the
1 Corinthians 12:10
interpretation of tongues:
If I discern you have a spirit of Fear do not say to

me, Oh, really? That is good to know. I will take some
Prozac and just pretend I am not afraid anymore.
Physiologically, Fear is behind many diseases.
Multiple chemical sensitivity is a fear-based disease that
the Be in Health programs have had much success with.
One of our pastors was healed of this disease.
Discernment involves Recognition, and freedom
involves understanding and removal. God knows
everything and if you are one of His kids, it is about
time you asked Him what He knows. He has already
told you in the Bible what He knows. Luke says, In the
last days, mens hearts shall fail them because of Fear.
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for
looking after those things which are coming on
the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be
Luke 21:26
shaken.

The book of Proverbs says,

A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy
Proverbs 14:30
the rottenness of the bones.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a
Proverbs 17:22
broken spirit drieth the bones.
You cannot Repent for

something you do not Recognize
Timothy says,
24And
the servant of the Lord must not strive;

but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25In meekness instructing those that oppose
themselves; if God peradventure will give them
repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26And that they may recover themselves out of
the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by
2 Timothy 2:24-26
him at his will.
Gods servants must Recognize in order that

they may recover themselves from the snare of the
devil, having been taken captive by him, the devil, at
his will.
I cannot bring you to Repentance if you do not
know what you are Repenting for. I must help you
Recognize sin. In our program For My Life, we want
people to understand what sin is and what it is not. We
want them to understand sin is a kingdom that is
intelligent by its fallen nature. We want to help them
separate themselves from the indwelling presence of sin
so they can make it their enemy. The enemy needs to be

Recognized. Then we want people to understand that

temptation is not sin.
Temptation
is not sin
We talk about the reality of Bitterness and how it
affects our lives. Then spirits of Accusation with
thoughts of someone accusing us, putting us down and
speaking evil of us come our way. We also talk about
occult practices that open us to the god of the second
heaven in order to give us a pseudo type of spirituality
as if it were from God. This includes false prophecies,
divination, false miracles, lying signs and wonders.
Modalities of disease management have nothing
to do with the revelation of the living God. They are
designed to help you cohabit with the enemy in the
name of therapy. They do not offer the true and living
God and they do not offer repentance from sin. They
may keep you in another bondage, usually at $150 per
hour; however, the gospel is free.
We want you to understand about Envy and
Jealousy and to Recognize Rejection and Bitterness. We
want you to understand the Unloving Spirits and how
Rejection and Guilt accuse you to yourself. We want
you to understand the power behind addictions.

The need to be loved is the

root behind all addictions
The root behind all addictions is the need to be
loved. The need to be loved takes us to altered states of
consciousness in order to avoid the pain and create an
alternate feeling as if we were loved.
In order to Recognize what Fear is, you need to
understand that there are specific types of Fear. You
need to understand what Fear of tomorrow means. You
need to understand what Fear of failure, Fear of man,
Fear of rejection, Fear of your mother-in-law, pastor
phobia (Fear of pastors), Fear of flying, Fear of heights,
Fear of fear and Fear of evil mean. You need to begin to
Recognize the things plaguing you from within. The
April 2, 2001 edition of Time Magazine lists 4000
different types of fears.
Do not overlook this verse.
Neither is there any creature that is not
manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and
opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have
Hebrews 4:13
to do.
Neither is obviously a continuation of verse 12

as a flow of thought in discerning the thoughts and
intents of our heart, and neither is there any creature
that is not manifest in His sight.
Who do you think the creature is within you that
needs to be discerned? That invisible creature flowing
through mankind is the body of sin. It is that fallen
kingdom of principalities, powers, rulers of darkness,

and spiritual wickedness in high places found in

Ephesians 6.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of thIs world, against

spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
It manifests as Fear, Bitterness, Unforgiveness,

Lust, etc. The creatures are the entire kingdom called
sin. They want you to participate with them so they
may have their being in the earth through you. If you
become one with something as if it were you, God
cannot heal you.

2. RESPONSIBILITY
he second step to getting free after you

Recognize
the
problem
is
taking
Responsibility. You must stop blaming others. Once
you have agreed with the thoughts you recognized you
are now participating with sin. It does not matter
whether someone defiled you, whether it was your sin,
or whether you inherited it. You have become one with
it and it is now yours. Take Responsibility for it and
deal with it.
When you agree with sinful thoughts,

you become one with that sin
Lets look at the pattern of one who was called a
man after Gods own heart, King David. He had entered
into a very bad situation and gotten a woman pregnant
while she was still married to someone else. Then he
arranged to have her husband killed. Yet God still called
David a man after His own heart. There is hope for us.
EXAMPLE OF DAVID
The first thing David did when Nathan the
prophet confronted him about this transgression and
sin was to go directly to God in prayer. He admitted his

guilt and Recognized his sin. He said, Against you

and you alone, O Lord, have I committed this sin.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and
done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be
justified when thou speakest, and be clear when
Psalms 51:4
thou judgest.
Most of us Recognize sin in our lives and we

believe we are just dirty old Christians. Not so! We
are Christians who have participated with sin but we
can be cleansed and sanctified. It is Guilt that tells us
there is double jeopardy and we are always going to
pay for past sins.
We do not have to live back in the past, stuck in
our sin. We should get our forgiveness, get cleaned up,
and get on with the program just like David did.
To be able to discern the difference between the
clean and the unclean is to Recognize. In the Psalm
King David says to God,

I acknowledge my transgressions: and my

sin is ever before me.
4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and
Psalms 51:3-4
thou judgest.
King David Recognized his sin once he was

confronted with what he had done. He had not been
honest so God sent a prophet to make him honest. The
Spirit of God was there to convict him, but David had a
choice just as you and I have a choice. The Bible says
David was perfect in all his ways except in the matter
of Uriah the Hittite.

Because David did that which was right in the

eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any
thing that he commanded him all the days of his
life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
1 Kings 15:5
It does not say Bathsheba was the problem. It

says Uriah the Hittite was the problem. King David had
a sin against Uriah the Hittite because he took
something that did not belong to him (Bathsheba) and
then he tried to cover it up. Once it was brought out
into the light, David first had to Recognize his sin and
then take Responsibility with God for what he had
done. Take Responsibility; do not try to get out of it.
The comparison between King David and King
Saul is amazing. David went directly to God in his sin
and made his peace with God. Saul, when confronted
with his sin by Samuel the prophet said to him, Pray to
your God for me.

LORD thy God.
Each person must go to God for themselves; I cannot

go there for you. The first thing each of us must do is
take Responsibility for our transgressions with God.
You have to go to God for yourself. No one can go there
for you.
God wants us to take Responsibility

for what we Recognize within ourselves
Someone said the other day, That is just the way
I am. If you dont like me, get over it. Wait a minute.

Corinthians says, From glory to glory we are being

changed into His image.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a
glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the
same image from glory to glory, even as by the
2 Corinthians 3:18
Spirit of the Lord.
It is not to Gods glory when we have

uncontrolled rage and anger because the Bible says,
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go
Ephesians 4:26
down upon your wrath:
This anger business must not be carried past

sundown. When we allow sin to carry past sundown it
will become ingrained within our nature and our spirit
by morning. God wants you to deal with things every
single day. Today is the day of salvation. Now is the
appointed time. Take no thought for tomorrow. The evil
of today is sufficient unto itself. Have you heard these
scriptures? This is a today issue. Recognize today. Take
Responsibility today.
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time
accepted, and in the day of salvation have I
succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time;
behold, now is the day of salvation.)
2 Corinthians 6:2
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for

the morrow shall take thought for the things of
itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:34

3. REPENT
he third R to freedom is Repent. After you

have Recognized and taken Responsibility,
then Repent. You cannot Repent for something you do
not Recognize, and you cannot truly Repent unless you
have taken Responsibility. I have seen a lot of people
who do not have a contrite heart; they have remorse
because they sinned. They want to get out of the
situation and away from the consequences of their sin,
but they truly have not taken Responsibility for what
they have done. They are always trying to blame
someone else for the way they acted.
Some people say, Pastor, I think we should be able to
Recognize the problem and Repent so that we can then
take Responsibility. No, we cannot properly Repent
unless we have taken Responsibility before God.
Responsibility prepares the way for Repentance. After
you Recognize, which is step number one, then step
number two is to take Responsibility, and number
three is to Repent.
Acts says,
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that
your sins may be blotted out, when the times of
refreshing shall come from the presence of the
Acts 3:19
Lord;
This scripture is not addressed to sinners because

sinners do not qualify for the times of refreshing that
will come from the presence of the Lord. The Christian

church is crying out for relief. We want relief, but we

have not been taught properly. There is a teaching that
says once you become a Christian you never have to
Repent for sin ever again because it negates grace and
mercy. The Word says we are not to sin in order for
grace to abound.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in
Romans 6:1
sin, that grace may abound?
Acts 3:19 provides us with an interesting insight

into Repentance. Relief will not come until we Repent.
Why does God want us to Repent? Because He
wants us to know that what we are turning away from,
through Repentance, establishes a new destiny of
righteousness in the earth for ourselves and our
children. When we Recognize guilt in our lives, take
Responsibility for it, Repent for allowing it to accuse
God and ourselves, and deal with it, then what comes
to us next? The opposite of guilt comes and a
tremendous place of peace. Guilt, however, negates
forgiveness and says we cannot be forgiven.
Repentance
is a quality decision
Repentance is not something we do because we
feel like it. Repentance is a quality decision. Either I
choose to participate with sin, or I choose to not
participate with sin. I either do it by the sin of
commission or by the sin of omission. I either sin

according to knowledge, or I sin according to ignorance.

I choose to obey, or I choose to not obey. I choose to
Repent, or I choose to not Repent. Repentance is saying
to God, I Recognize I have been participating with the
indwelling presence of sin in my life. Against you and
you alone, have I sinned.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and
Psalms 51:4
thou judgest.
EXEMPLARY PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

Here is an exemplary prayer:
Father, I Recognize that You are justified
when You speak and when You judge
because You are God. I take Responsibility
and Repent for participating with sin and
overthrowing who You are in the earth
through me. Will you forgive me?
In Ezekiel we find the word Repent.
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel,
every one according to his ways, saith the Lord
GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your
transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
Ezekiel 18:30
When you read the entire eighteenth chapter of

Ezekiel you will find it to be an interesting study. Gods
people are complaining to Him because He had been
forgiving the repentant unrighteous and fixing them.

God would not fix the righteous while they were

continuing in their sins, but they felt they qualified
because they had been Old Testament saints for many
years.
Actually, it was not even them talking this way;
it was something from the invisible kingdom inside of
them speaking through them. Have you ever known
someone who lived an unrighteous life, accepted God,
Repented, received Gods forgiveness, and then was
healed instantaneously? Yet you, a believer, are still
sick? Ezekiel 18:25 says, Yet you say, the way of the
Lord is not equal , but I ask if your ways are equal.
Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal.
Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal?
Ezekiel 18:25
are not your ways unequal?
Equal means fair. Hear now, Oh house of Israel.

Are not my ways fair or just? Have you been watching
your own actions? Do you think you have been fair and
just with me?
26When
a righteous man turneth away from his

righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth
in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he
die.
27Again, when the wicked man turneth away
from his wickedness that he hath committed, and
doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall
save his soul alive.
28Because he considereth, and turneth away
from all his transgressions that he hath
committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
29Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the
Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my
ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all

ruin.
We now come out of the general body of Christ

to a personal salvation. We as individuals must do what
the Word of God has shown us personally. We are
responsible for what we Recognize individually and
not for what the rest of the Church is doing.
There are thousands of churches in America
teaching that once we are born again we will never have
to Repent for sin because grace covers our sins. If you
are attending one of those churches, I suggest you begin
to Repent for your sins and let God be true.
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man
a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be
justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome
Romans 3:4
when thou art judged.
Not Repenting for our sins cannot be found

anywhere in Scripture. I can prove in the Old and New
Testaments that, as believers, as New Testament saints,
as covenant believers, the Lord Jesus Christ requires
each one of us to Repent for our own participation with
sin. Lets look to the New Testament, with Jesus as the
author, for some scriptures.
Jesus is the head Bishop of the church and His
instruction to the New Testament churches is listed in
Revelation. Out of seven churches, five were already
corrupt, and two were faithful and true.

You must judge for yourself to see if you

personally need to Repent as a sinning saint. We need
to Repent and be converted because the prophet said
that our sins have separated us from our God.
When our sins separate us from God, it keeps us
from the times of refreshing that God has planned for
us on this planet. I am interested in having the times of
refreshing come into to my life. I need every little oasis I
can find in this journey because I am a pilgrim in
progress.
Chronicles shows roots of disease coming from
sin.
22If a man sin against his neighbour, and an
oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the
oath come before thine altar in this house;
23Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and
judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked, by
recompensing his way upon his own head; and
by justifying the righteous, by giving him
according to his righteousness.
24And if thy people Israel be put to the worse
before the enemy, because they have sinned
against thee; and shall return and confess thy

name, and pray and make supplication before

2 Chronicles 6:22-24
thee in this house;
The beginning of understanding blessings and

cursings is, If thy people Israel be put to the worse
before the enemy, because they have sinned against
thee.
When we sin against God He will give us over to
what we want. If we choose to believe unforgiveness is
the way of the Lord, God will let us have what we want
until we have had enough.
If thy people Israel be put to the worse before
the enemy because they have sinned against thee and
then return and confess thy name, now we are coming
to a place of Repentance. Pray and make supplication
before thee in this house, then hear thou from heaven.
Hear from heaven and do what? Forgive. Forgive the
sin of thy people Israel, bring them again into the land
which thou gavest them and to their fathers.
Then hear thou from the heavens, and forgive
the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again
unto the land which thou gavest to them and to
2 Chronicles 6:25
their fathers.
When the heavens are shut up and there is no

rain, because they have sinned against thee, so what
causes drought? Gods people have not been doers of
the Word.
When the heaven is shut up, and there is no
rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet if
they pray toward this place, and confess thy name,
and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict

Yet if, remember I said there are three words in

the Bible taken out of modern day Christianity? Those
three words are if, then and but.
IF, THEN AND BUT
If they pray towards this place and confess your
name and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict
them, then hear thou from heaven, and forgive the sin
of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, when you have
taught them the good way. But if they will not
Then hear thou from heaven, and forgive the
sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, when
thou hast taught them the good way, wherein they
should walk; and send rain upon thy land, which
thou hast given unto thy people for an inheritance.
2 Chronicles 6:27
This scripture is an example of recognizing what

is good. You have taught them the good way wherein
they should walk by being a doer of the Word. If you
pray, then God hears and forgives, but if you do not,
God does not.
28If there be dearth in the land, if there be
pestilence, if there be blasting, or mildew, locusts,
or caterpillers; if their enemies besiege them in the
cities of their land; whatsoever sore or whatsoever
sickness there be:
29Then what prayer or what supplication
soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy
people Israel, when every one shall know his
own sore and his own grief, and shall spread
forth his hands in this house:
30Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling
place, and forgive, and render unto every man

according unto all his ways, whose heart thou

knowest; (for thou only knowest the hearts of the
children of men:)
Everyone shall know his own sore and his own

grief. That means we are going to know what is behind
our sores and our grief. We will know what kind of sin
has caused it.
We are going to know

what sin has caused our grief
Every one shall know his own sore and his own
grief and shall spread forth his hands in this house.
Then hear thou from heaven, thy dwelling place, and
do what? Forgive and render. Here we come into a
personal freedom, a personal victory, or a personal
bondage.
Each one of us stands personally before the Lord.
At the judgment seat of Christ, we will each stand there,
one on one. We will not stand there together being
judged. We will give an account for the deeds done in
our own body as a believer, good or evil, and the Lord
will judge us independently. He will judge His own, in
heaven, at something called the judgment seat of Christ.
For we must all appear before the judgment
seat of Christ; that every one may receive the
things done in his body, according to that he hath
done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10
Do we really read our Bibles like we need to? No,

Church, we do not. I have read my Bible, and then I have
read it again and again.

I am still learning. I like what I am reading

because it is the only thing that makes any sense unless I
am a rebel. Rebels do not ever want to do anything they
are told; they just want to do it their way.
I want you to be well

I want you to be free
I want you to teach other people
how to get well and free
but we must do it Gods way
Continuing in 2 Chronicles, Then hear thou
from heaven, God knows our hearts.
Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling
place, and forgive, and render unto every man
according unto all his ways, whose heart thou
knowest; (for thou only knowest the hearts of the

Go to verse 36, If they sin against thee,

If they sin against thee, (for there is no man
which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them,
and deliver them over before their enemies, and
they carry them away captives unto a land far off

Oh, my! Did you hear what that says? That

means in this room, each one of us including myself,
has work to do in eliminating sin from our lives. We are
going to have to grow up if we are going to be mature
men and women of God.

Do we want to grow up in maturity or do we

need to change our diapers until the millennium? Do
we want to serve God or do we just want to go to
church for two hours a week and appease our
consciences?
THE CAPTIVITY OF DISEASE
If a disease binds us, we are held captive. This is
not just about being in a foreign nation. This has to do
with any type of spiritual captivity. If we are bound by
high blood pressure, if we are bound by lupus, if we are
bound by diabetes II, if we are bound by congestive
heart failure, if we are bound by depression, then we
are in bondage.
We are bound because we have participated with
sin or our ancestors have sinned in their generations.
While we are in captivity, we must begin to turn our
hearts back to God.
While in captivity, we must begin

to turn our hearts back to God
We are there because we have participated with
sin or our ancestors have sinned in their generations.
This is what I hear Christians say: When God delivers
me, then I will serve Him. When God delivers me, then
I will pay attention to His love. No, while you are still
goofy, and while it seems like God is a million miles
away in your life, it is time to turn your heart to God.
He is not far away.

The instructions are in Chronicles.

Yet if they bethink themselves in the land
whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray
unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We
have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt

wickedly;
That is all God wants to hear. God wants us to

Recognize we are in captivity. He did not put us there.
He gave us over to what we wanted. He let the enemy
have us because we did not want Him. We had a
greater love for the enemy than we did for God.
If we have a greater love for the enemy than for
God, He will let the enemy have us because we did not
want Him. God will give us whatever we want. If we
want to believe a lie, He will withdraw and give us a
greater delusion until we have had enough of the lies,
and we begin to seek truth again.
And for this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2 Thessalonians 2:11
Have you had enough lies? Then turn to Him

and begin to look again for His truth. In 2 Chronicles
6:37, it says, We have sinned, we have gone amiss, and
we have dealt wickedly. Here is the if, then and but
again.
Continuing in Chronicles, if they return,

with all their soul in the land of their captivity,
whither they have carried them captives, and pray
toward their land, which thou gavest unto their
fathers, and toward the city which thou hast

thy dwelling place, their prayer and their
supplications, and maintain their cause, and
forgive thy people which have sinned against

That means we are going to begin to Recognize,

take Responsibility and Repent while our captivity has
not been changed.
We have to Recognize
take Responsibility and Repent
while we are still in captivity
It is hard, I know. It is hard to hear God while He
seems far away, but it is better than never hearing from
Him. Maybe there has been enough listening to the
devil in your life.
If you have been listening to him, then why not
turn to God? But if you do not, go back to Ezekiel.
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel,
Ezekiel 18:30
Repentance can bring healing. Our teaching on

the marrow of our bones has incredible insight as to
how the enemy can cause allergies in our lives through
Fear, making us cancer-prone and keeping us from
being healed of cancer. If we have had allergies and

then were healed, we have experienced the scripture

that says, He sent His word, and healed them.
He sent his word, and healed them, and
delivered them from their destructions.
Psalms 107:20
His Word is to be made flesh to our flesh. The

question is, How does that work? This is how I get
people free of allergies. Through knowledge I reveal
what is in the spiritual dimension we have become one
with in our psychological dimension. We Repent to
God, become free spiritually, become renewed in our
minds, and then our marrow belongs to God again, not
to the devil of death.
Now God owns our marrow again, but we are
not going to get our marrow clear unless we understand what God said and Recognize it. The Word of
God is able to penetrate even to the joints and marrow.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful,
and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing
even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of
the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Right here we have the absolute possibility of

being sanctified, spirit, soul and body. If we repent,
then allergies will no longer exist and cancer will no
longer exist. That is normal Christianity. It is very
simple. The gospel is a simple gospel. Unless we
become like children we cannot even see the kingdom
of God.

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be

converted, and become as little children, ye shall
not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3
Hebrews says,
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of
full age, even those who by reason of use have
Hebrews 5:14
evil.
That is practical daily application. They have

their spiritual and mental senses exercised to be able to
discern both good and evil. Here is what evil is; here is
what good is. Here is what unforgiveness looks like;
here is what forgiveness looks like.
When someone has blasted us with spiritual
halitosis, we have that immediate temptation to go into
Bitterness and unforgiveness.
But we can grab Bitterness in one hand and
forgiveness with the other. We stare at the law of sin,
which is Bitterness, and then stare at the law of God,
which is forgiveness. We look at this one and say, It is
evil, and we then look at the other one and say, It is
good. Look at the evil one and discern it is inferior to
the superiority of forgiveness. This cancels out the curse
of but in if, then and but.

4. RENOUNCE
he first R is to Recognize. The second R is

take Responsibility. The third R is to Repent
for what you Recognize, and the fourth R is to
Renounce what we have just Repented for. Once
people seem to Recognize and take Responsibility,
they have no problems Repenting, but Renouncing an
issue seems to be an obstacle. What does it mean to
Renounce something? It would go something like this:
Fear, listen to me. I Recognize you. I have
taken Responsibility for you. I have
Repented to God for allowing you to
participate in my life and for me
participating with you. Now Fear of man,
Fear of failure, Fear of rejection, Fear of
mother-in-laws and every kind of Fear that
has been plaguing me and my generations, I
not only Recognize you, I not only have
taken Responsibility for you, I not only have
Repented before God, but now I am
Renouncing forever everything you stand
for in my life.
I cannot make people do something against their
will, but we allow the invisible things in us to work
through us every day. If those invisible things try to
make you do something against your will, you have a
right to rebuke them. Should we not Renounce and

rebuke that other kingdom that is making itself work

through us in the same way?
I Renounce you, and you cannot make me
do something against my will. I am tired of
being afraid. I am fed up with it and
everything you do to me and through me.
That is why we teach separation. That is why we
teach that Fear is not you. That is why we teach what
Jesus taught in Mark 7 and Paul taught in Romans 7.
We have been trying to explain this so we can
help others know how to understand which kingdom is
in operation within us all. We have been called to
establish the kingdom of God here in the earth. We now
have the right and the authority to remove everything
that is not part of the kingdom of God from us. We also
can establish the kingdom of Satan by being in rebellion
to the Word of God. How do we establish Satans
kingdom? By not forgiving our brother, by being in
strife and debate, by lust, by unforgiveness, hatred and
many other ways.
Now that we have drawn nigh to God, we turn
our attention to what is not of God.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to
you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify
James 4:8
your hearts, ye double minded.
TESTIMONY OF HEALING FROM SLEEP APNEA

I had been diagnosed with sleep apnea in
August 2003 and had been under a sleep
mask with 14 pounds of pressure since that
time (2004). When I spent the night at the

sleep clinic, I was told I stopped breathing

139 times during the course of 6 hours of
sleep. Five times it was very severe, almost
up to 2 minutes! I might add that I have two
other sisters that have this problem. One
sleeps with a mask and the other had major
throat surgery about a year ago.
I was set free of sleep apnea during the
Saturday morning prayer of For My Life.
My freedom came when I prayed the
Freemasonry prayer. My dad and granddad
were both in the Masons.
The battle in Walk Out began soon after I
returned home. I had terrible nightmares and
a very bad headache the following morning.
In fact, it was the kind of headache I had
when I did not get adequate oxygen to my
brain.
Medication never seemed to offer any relief.
This was a strong set back for me because
the doctor at the sleep clinic had told me
about the possibility of a stroke or heart
failure when one does not get adequate
oxygen to the brain.
A friend encouraged me to Renounce and
make my declaration out loud. THIS SAVED
ME FROM GOING BACK UNDER THE
MASK THAT VERY NIGHT! I looked at the
mask and had a struggle but finally decided,
live or die, I was not going back under it. I
believed Gods Word to be true. I staked my
claim to my deliverance and have remained

free since April 30, 2004! In fact, the mask

has been packed away out of my sight.
I have continued to make my declaration
every night that:
I am free of sleep apnea. I will have
the sweet sleep promised to the
beloved of God, and whom the Son
sets free is free indeed.
My sleep is sweet and I have not
had any further symptoms. I AM FREE!!

of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

We would say this to Guilt. We would say this to

Hatred. We would say this to Bitterness. We would say
this to Envy and Jealousy. We would tell everything
that is not of God we Renounce it and everything it
stands for.
Our declarations must be made boldly so that all
things both visible and invisible may know the intent of
our confession.

Renounce everything
that is not of God
I want to give you a powerful scripture dealing
with the aspects of renouncing. Corinthians says,
But I say, that the things which the Gentiles
sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God:
and I would not that ye should have fellowship
1 Corinthians 10:20
with devils.
This is not addressed to the unsaved; it is

addressed to the Gods people. New Testament saints
who are in fellowship with devils as believers. You may
ask, How can I have fellowship with devils?
You are fellowshipping with devils when you
have Bitterness against your mother-in-law while sitting
down with your cereal in the morning. We sit down
with thoughts about what our mother-in-law did
yesterday when she came over and ran her finger across
the dusty foyer table.
Maybe she looked in the bedroom to see how
you are taking care of her boys kids. The beds are not
made. The floors are trashed. The toys are all over the
place. The toilet seat has four days of grime on it. Come
on now!
With this scenario in mind, can we really ask,
How do we have fellowship with devils? We are
participating with Fear, Jealousy and Envy, Lust, Strife
and any sin that wants to manifest in creation. We are

allowing it to happen in our lives and on this planet.

That is fellowship with devils!
When you see these things in your life, say this:
Listen, Fear. Listen, Bitterness. I Recognize
you. I have taken Responsibility before God
for allowing you to use the members of my
body for your purposes. I have Repented to
God.
Now, listen to me talk to you. You have to
go! I Renounce everything you stand for in
my life and on this planet.
Let your declarations be bold. The kingdom of
God suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
And from the days of John the Baptist until
now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence,
Matthew 11:12
and the violent take it by force.
Quit being wimpy. You are not wimpy when

someone steps on your toes. Let me give you a scripture
used as a part of the Roman Road, but it really needs to
be used as part of your life after conversion. Romans
says,
For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
Romans 10:10
made unto salvation.
I do not agree with those who say, Well, that is

just the way I am, Pastor. I reserve the right to change,
but we cannot change something we do not Recognize.
We cannot change something for which we do not take
Responsibility. We cannot change something for which

we do not Repent. We cannot change something we are

in agreement with until we Renounce it from our hearts.
Why should I Renounce, Pastor? God wants
you to have a perfect hatred for evil. The Bible says,
God has a perfect hatred for evil.
I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them
Psalm 139:22
mine enemies.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and
arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward
Proverbs 8:13
mouth, do I hate.
He wants you to make evil your enemy. He

wants you to make sin your enemy. You may
Recognize something, take Responsibility for it and
even Repent, but that does not mean we have fallen out
of agreement with it.
We cannot be partakers of the Lords Table and
the table of devils. God wants us to Renounce and have
a perfect hatred for what we have Recognized. If it is
Bitterness, Lust, Unforgiveness, Rage or Anger, He
wants us to Renounce it. Salvation is more than being
born again. Yes, you must be born again.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be
John 3:7
born again.
We must be in the arena of God. For with the

heart, man believeth unto what? Righteousness.
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
Romans 10:10
made unto salvation.

righteousness. It does not say believeth unto
salvation. So, here is where the Roman Road people
have missed the point. You may be born again, but you
have not learned the first principle of applying
righteousness until the Holy Spirit begins to sanctify
you.
When we were born again

we did not end up sinless on the
other side of that conversion
We were still as goofy 24 hours later, almost as
much as we were before we were saved. We still had
our junk, right? We quit going to bars and we married
our shack-up. Both of those things needed to be done,
but did we deal with Fear, Jealousy, Envy and
Bitterness? No. For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness, but with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation. That is more than just being born again.
As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Out of the
abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and
drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with
Proverbs 23:7
thee.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil,
speak good things? for out of the abundance of the
Matthew 12:34
heart the mouth speaketh.
If my mouth can flap at both ends with something

as negative as sin, it can flap and Renounce at the enemy

out loud. Why do we need to say it out loud? So that all

things visible and invisible can hear the declaration of
our intention that our words may stand in the
heavenlies, demanding to be fulfilled and so that
righteousness will be established in the earth through us.
Everything visible and invisible will understand
the declaration of my tongue. Since every word that I
have not dealt with will stand against me in judgment
in the day of reckoning, then why would I not let every
word of righteousness stand for me in my favor in the
day of reckoning? Let them be fueled with the wisdom
of God and the understanding of establishing the
kingdom of God on the earth because my words say so.
Do your words say so? God the Word did not
stay in heaven in silence. He came here and made a
difference by His words.

5. REMOVE
he fifth R to freedom is Remove. After you

have Renounced what is not of God, Remove
it. I can bring you to a place of Recognition which is
discernment. I can bring you to a place to take
Responsibility. I can even bring you to a place of
Repentance. I can even get you to Renounce openly
what evil stands for in your life, but you have to
Remove it. Removing sin is saying this:
Not only do I Renounce you, but you and I
cannot exist at the same place at the same
time together. You have to go, spirit. I am not
moving. Fear, not only have I Renounced
you, but you do not have permission to stay
in the same place with me. Go to your dry
place. Get away from here! Be gone! I take
authority over you in the name of Jesus; now
get out of here!
If you have just been delivered from alcoholism,
then hanging out with the boys at the local bar is not a
good idea. If you have just been delivered from lust,
then allowing that Playboy magazine to sit on the coffee
table is not a good idea. If you have just been delivered
from strife, then hanging out with strife-filled people is
not a good idea. Ezekiel says,
30Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel,

31Cast away from you all your transgressions,
whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a
new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O
Ezekiel 18:30-31
house of Israel?
Repent and turn yourselves from all your

transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin. Then
what is being said here? Remove.
We need to Remove what we have just
Recognized, taken Responsibility for, Repented for
and Renounced. We cannot hang out with it anymore.
We can no longer let Self-hatred get up in the
morning and go get a cup of coffee with us. We cannot
let doubt and unbelief join us in Sunday morning
services.
You no longer have the right to have that highoctane ping when your mother-in-law walks in the
front door unannounced on Saturday morning while
the sink is full of dirty dishes. Remove! Remove what is
causing the high-octane ping within you.
Cohabitation with the enemy is strictly forbidden
in the Old Testament. In the New Testament, Paul
instructed us to crucify it and put it to death.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the
Galatians 5:24
flesh with the affections and lusts.

Again, Ezekiel 18:31 instructed us to cast away our
transgressions. What are we to do after we have
Recognized the problem, taken Responsibility for it,
Repented for it and Renounced it? Remove it. Cast it
away from you, and make yourself a new heart and a
new spirit. For why will you die, O house of Israel?
Choose this day what you shall have, life or
death, blessings or cursings.
I call heaven and earth to record this day
against you, that I have set before you life and
death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,
that both thou and thy seed may live:
Deuteronomy 30:19
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the

LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve;
whether the gods which your fathers served that
were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of
the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for
me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Joshua 24:15
What I deal with, you may not deal with, and

what you deal with, I might not deal with. So if you
think about it, the battleground is an individual thing.
There are some things that are common to man. The
Bible says, When this fiery trial overtakes you, think
not that some strange thing is happening to you. It is
nothing more than what is common to man.

There hath no temptation taken you but such
as is common to man: but God is faithful, who

to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

There are certain things in the earth that are

common to our existence. Yet when we are under the
gun in a particular area of our life, we think it is only us
battling this thing. In reality, maybe a few million
people are having the same battle today. Because we do
not see it that way, we may feel that God is picking on
us. We may think the devil or someone else is picking
on us. No, it is just the things that are common to man.
Fear is a force
common to man
It did not just pick on you or me. It is common,
as a movement of Satans intentions on the earth, to
capture the faith of men and to destroy God in their
lives.
You have to cast away from you what has been
killing you, what has been causing disease, and what
has been causing depression and oppression. You are
going to Remove it, not just Renounce it and not just
Repent for it. You are going to Remove it from your life
until it is gone. Then you are going to make yourself a
new heart and a new spirit.

have to live my life for me. No, God is not going to live
your life for you. You are going to live your own life.
He is going to work with you. Draw nigh to God, and
He will draw nigh to you.
James 4:8
The Bible says, He that has no rule over his own

spirit is like a city with its walls broken down, and all
manner of beasts just come in and out and make a
general mess of everything.
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like
a city that is broken down, and without walls.
Proverbs 25:28
You are to Remove

what is not of God
You are going to take control of your destiny, in
the name of Jesus, according to knowledge. The Holy
Spirit will lead you into all truth.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not
speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,
that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to
John 16:13
come.
Romans says,
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
Romans 8:14
they are the sons of God.

the devil. I used to be in fellowship with devils, but
now I have a heart to be in fellowship with God.

6. RESIST
he sixth R to freedom is Resist. After you

have Removed what you have Recognized,
taken Responsibility for, Repented, and Renounced,
the sixth aspect of freedom in your life and others you
would try to help is to Resist. The enemy stalks us and
knows our family trees really well.
Now wait a minute! How can I Resist something
that has been removed? It is going to come back to
check you out. If we do not understand this point, we
can be taken all over again.
Again I say, Resisting does not begin first with
Resisting. It begins with submitting yourself to God.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the

devil, and he will flee from you.
The enemys kingdom is very lazy and very

arrogant. That is why at Be In Health we do not start by
casting devils out of people. We could do a lot of
damage to someone that way. So we do not use the gifts
prematurely. If someone stays around this ministry
long enough, they will begin to be discipled by us as we
begin to teach, as we begin to instruct, as we begin to
lay a foundation.
We will show you principles that will create a
foundation for you to stand on. Then you will be able to
take on the enemy yourself. You will be able to
Recognize when the enemy tries to come back to you

with the same old stuff. When that happens, you will be
filled up with the knowledge of God so he will not be
able to come back in.
SUBMISSION TO GOD
How do you submit yourself to God?
James 4:8
To submit to God, you Recognize the indwelling

presence of sin, take Responsibility for it, Repent for it,
Renounce it, Remove it, Resist it and draw nigh to
God.
The principles of Resist are first found in
Corinthians.
Casting down imaginations, and every high
thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of
God, and bringing into captivity every thought to
2 Corinthians 10:5
the obedience of Christ;
Why do you need to know good and evil? Many

in Christianity say, Do not speak of the devil or Do
not talk about evil because it glorifies the devil. The
Word of God says, We are not ignorant of his (Satans)
devices.
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for
we are not ignorant of his devices.
2 Corinthians 2:11
A sign of maturity is being able to handle strong

meat. In Hebrews 5:14, those who are mature exercise

their senses to discern both good and evil. When the

enemy comes, you hold up what evil looks like and
what good looks like. Everything that does not match
what God looks like and what He has said, take it by its
scrawny neck and cast it down.
If God said we are to forgive our brother, then
we must forgive our brother whether we feel like it or
not.
We must forgive our brother

whether we feel like it or not
That is drawing nigh to God. The feelings of
unforgiveness are proof of the indwelling presence of a
spirit of Bitterness. When we have dealt with our
situation, we will still remember what Aunt Sally did to
us in 1942, but we will no longer feel that spirit of
unforgiveness against her in our stomach because we
have been delivered.
The first three Rs to freedom involve submitting
yourself to God. Then after we have Renounced and
Removed, we can begin to Resist the devil.
Taking every thought captive is not addressed
to unbelievers. It is addressed to sinning saints.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners is addressed to
covenant, New Testament believers, who are practicing
and participating with sin (James 4:8).
We always act like the Bible is written to the
heathen. No, the Bible is written to the sinning saints
whom God loves. I will tell you what I decided as a

believer. I would rather be weary in well doing than

worn out and wasted from losing to the devil.
The church is lazy. It is absolutely lazy. We are to
work out our own salvation daily with fear and
trembling, making ourselves a new heart and a new
spirit.
Cast away from you all your transgressions,

new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O
Ezekiel 18:31
house of Israel?
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always
obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much
more in my absence, work out your own salvation
Philippians 2:12
with fear and trembling.
A man who has no rule over his own spirit man

is like a city with its walls broken down letting all
manner of beasts come in and out. It is just one stinking
mess.
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a
city that is broken down, and without walls.
Proverbs 25:28
I choose to rule my own spirit. I am getting better

at it every single day. The question becomes, How can
I Resist the devil? I thought he was already gone.

When you remove an evil spirit

it will return again to test you
Scripture tells us when the unclean spirit is gone
out of a man, it returns to see if the house is empty.
43When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man,
he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and
findeth none.
44Then he saith, I will return into my house
from whence I came out; and when he is come, he
findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
45Then goeth he, and taketh with himself
seven other spirits more wicked than himself,
and they enter in and dwell there: and the last
state of that man is worse than the first. Even so
shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
Matthew 12:43-45
One of two things will happen. You will either

Recognize that it is trying to come back and Resist it, or
you will not Recognize it and agree with it again,
thinking it is your own thought. If you let it back in the
second time, you will also let in seven other spirits more
wicked than the first.
Everyone is trying to Resist the devil. I stopped
attending spiritual warfare conferences many years ago
because the teachings were mostly just shadow boxing.
Im going to Resist the devil, bless God.
The devil is laughing his head off at us, Church.
He does not have to leave just because you say, Boo, in
the name of Jesus!
He says, Boo! back at you.

Well, I use the name of Jesus, and he has to flee

because the Bible says whatever I shall say in the name
of Jesus, I shall have whatsoever I say.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall
say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be

heart, but shall believe that those things which he
saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever
Mark 11:23
he saith.
Do you actually think the name of Jesus provides

freedom just because you say so?
Yes, He gave me His name, and Im going to
use His name.
Psalms says, He exalts His Word even above
His name.
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and
praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for
thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above
Psalm 138:2
all thy name.
If you have been disobedient to His Word

He is not obligated to honor His name
The devil does not just flee because of Jesus
name. It is your obedience to God and His Word out of
a pure heart that breaks the power of the devil, not just
His name.

The Christian church is trying to use His name

while remaining disobedient to His Word. No wonder
that just using His name is not working.
SATAN NOT OMNIPRESENT
James 4:7 says, Submit yourselves to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. I wish that
were true in and of itself. Many Christians are saying I
am just resisting the devil.
He is not omnipresent whatsoever. He is a
created being and the book of Job tells us he is bound to
one place at one time. The sons of God came to present
themselves before the Lord, and Satan came with them.
The Lord said something like, What have you been up
to, Big Boy?
Satan said, I have been walking to and fro up
and down the earth.
And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence
comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD,
and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and
Job 1:7
from walking up and down in it.
If Satan were omnipresent, he would not have to

walk anywhere. He is not omnipresent or omniscient
because an angel came to Joseph in the night and told
him to get out of town.
When Herod was tempted by Satan to kill all
children up to two years of age, the angel said to
Joseph, get your mobile home, get your mustang and
get your horses and head for I-75 south to go into
Egypt. Get Mary and baby Jesus and get out of town. So

they did, and Satan did not even see them go. He did
not even know where they went.
The issue is this; Resist the devil. Your ability to
defeat Satan is in direct proportion to your obedience
to the God who saved you. I am watching a rebellious
sinning Church act like it has defeated the enemy, yet it
is bound with diseases left and right. This condition
indicates that the church is deluded.
James 4:7 says, Resist the devil and he will flee
from you. Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to
you. We cannot resist the devil unless we are drawing
nigh to God at the same time.
Be strong in His Word, and then use His name. Be
obedient, and the devil will flee.
Hebrews says we should be able to handle strong
meat but we need to go back on the milk, Church.
Everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word of
righteousness. Strong meat belongs to them that are of
full age, even those who by reason of use have their
senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
11Of
whom we have many things to say and

hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12For when for the time ye ought to be
teachers, ye have need that one teach you again
which be the first principles of the oracles of
God; and are become such as have need of milk,
and not of strong meat.
13For every one that useth milk is unskillful in
the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14But strong meat belongeth to them that are
of full age, even those who by reason of use have
Hebrews 5:11-14

We are to seek first the kingdom of God and His

righteousness, and then all these things shall be added
to us.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his

The kingdom of God is not meat or drink, but it

is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink;
but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy
Romans 14:17
Ghost.
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to

you.
James 4:8
Any thought you have, any word you say, any

action you do that is not what God would think, say or
do is participation with sin. It is evil. Anytime that God
says, Do this and we do not do it, we are participating
with sin. We are participating with evil. Evil is anything
that is allowed into creation that does not match the
eternal personage of the living God in creation.
It fractures creation! It leavens it! It changes it! It
corrupts it! It perverts it! It allows creation to be
changed from what God designed it to be. We need to
be able to discern both good and evil because it is a sign
of maturity. God has called us to be grown up, not stay
like babies. When I was a child, I thought like a child.

But when I became a man, I put away childish things

and began to think like an adult.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I
understood as a child, I thought as a child: but
when I became a man, I put away childish things.
1 Corinthians 13:11
Most of us are spoiled brats in Christianity. It is

time to grow up. If we are saved, let us act like it. Many
of us act like we are not saved when we follow through
with the thoughts and intents of our hearts that are not
of God. Recognize what is of God and what is not of
God in your life from the Bible.
You know your thoughts. You know if you are
honest with yourself about your yucky puckies. You
know in your heart whether or not you are a doer of the
Word. If you go into denial, that is deception.
We do not have to worry about someone else
being dishonest with us because we have already been
dishonest with ourselves. That is scary. We are going to
have to be honest with ourselves because the Bible says,
Confess your faults one to another, and pray
one for another, that ye may be healed. The
effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
James 5:16
availeth much.
We need to get our faults into the sunlight. Then

our minds need to be renewed.
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
Ephesians 4:23
Sometimes our mind will kick up a memory that

represents what we have been taught by the enemy,

and then it kicks in with something called temptation. A

kingdom does not bring temptation to us.
Temptation comes
because our minds are not renewed
Our memory can also kick physiological things
into action. So here is the deal. If what we have
Removed tries to come back, we need to Resist it.
Someone emailed me anonymously and said, I
am a believer, but I am having difficulty getting out of
homosexuality. I keep falling back into it. I hate it. I am
in and out of it. I was recently teaching at a conference,
and an individual came up to me and said, I am falling
in and out of homosexuality.
Oh, are you the one that sent me that email?
Uh, yes.
Oh, I said. I am so proud of you.
Proud of me? I thought you would just tell me
to leave!
How can I help you if you leave?
Well, I thought you would reject me.
You have not committed the unpardonable sin.
Why would I reject you? It is time to face it. Can I help?
Well, I walked into a ministry before that said
they help people with homosexual tendencies. They
had all these case histories of people that are well
because of their insight. I drove hundreds of miles to
their ministry and said, I am one of those case
histories. They would not even talk to me.

James 4:8 says, Cleanse your hands you sinners
and purify your hearts you double minded.
James 4:8
You could not purify your heart if you wanted to

unless you were born again. Your spirit must first come
alive to God. Humble yourselves in the sight of the
Lord, and He shall lift you up. RESIST.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord,
James 4:10
and he shall lift you up.
Timothy says,
24And
the servant of the Lord must not strive;

but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25In meekness instructing those that oppose
themselves; if God peradventure will give them
repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26And that they may recover themselves out of
the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by
2 Timothy 2:24-26
him at his will.
Repentance to the acknowledging of the truth

that they may recover themselves from the snare of the
devil having been taken captive by him at the devils
will, to do the devils will in the earth. That is addressed
to Christians.
Even though I am intense, I want to tell you that
you are worth saving. I do not intend to tickle your ears
or give you some Mickey Mouse deal.

the gospel is all about.

7. REJOICE
he seventh R to freedom is Rejoice. After you

have Recognized, then taken Responsibility,
Repented, Renounced, Removed and Resisted, it is
time to walk out into victory. Rejoice. Give God thanks.
Rejoice, and again I say unto you, Rejoice.
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say,
Philippians 4:4
Rejoice.
Now we must give God glory for our freedom.

Give God thanks that a piece of dust like you could
experience the grace and mercy of the living God who
loves you. He is worthy of our praise.
ISAIAH 35
One of the greatest songs of rejoicing and praise
in the Bible is not even found in the Psalms. It is found
in the book of Isaiah. Isaiah 35 is a powerful prophetic
and positional chapter of Rejoicing by the Spirit of God
through the prophet Isaiah. I consider this chapter to be
the greatest psalm and song of worship, power and
majesty in the entire Bible.
1The wilderness and the solitary place shall be
glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and
blossom as the rose.
2It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice
even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon
shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel

and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD,

and the excellency of our God.
3Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm
the feeble knees.
4Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be

Rejoice! It is a powerful chapter of Rejoicing

because of the power of our King and our God. Every
time I read it, I just say, Yes, Lord, this is great! Give
Him thanks that pieces of dust like us can be redeemed
for His glory.
Our most reasonable sacrifice is to give ourselves
back to Him as a living sacrifice for His glory.

participate with devils and call it a way of life

8. RESTORE
he eighth and final R to freedom is Restore

others. After God has met you and set you
free, you need to turn your attention to others. The
eighth R to freedom is the one we have added recently:
Restore others. After we have received the blessings of
God and understood the previous seven Rs to freedom
as an example of a highway to freedom, the eighth R is
the fruit of the gospel, you helping to Restore others.
Isaiah says,
18Hear,
see.
ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may
19Who
is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my

messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is
perfect, and blind as the LORD'S servant?
20Seeing many things, but thou observest not;
opening the ears, but he heareth not.
21The
LORD is well pleased for his
righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and
Isaiah 42:18-21
make it honourable.
Hear, you that are deaf, look you that are blind
that you may see. Who is blind? My servant. Who is
deaf? My messenger I sent.
My goal is that the Word of God might be reestablished first in the house of God and then in the
world, that it may be made honorable again. Then and
only then can you Restore others. Verse 22 says, But
this is a people robbed and spoiled.

But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they

are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in
prison houses: they are for a prey, and none
delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, restore.
Isaiah 42:22
This is talking about Gods people. It is not

addressed to Gentiles. It is addressed to covenant
people, to the Old Testament church, and is for
instruction in righteousness. These are the people of
Isaiah 5:13. These are the people of Hosea 4:6. All of
them are snared in holes. They are all hid in prison
houses for a prey and no one delivereth; for a spoil and
no one is saying Restore.
One of the things I learned in Psalm 51 is after
David had Repented, there is no indication in Scripture
he ever went back to these types of sins. David
Recognized the problem, he took Responsibility for it,
he Repented, he Renounced, and he Removed. He
dealt with it and God met him. That is why he is called
a man after Gods own heart.
And when he had removed him, he raised up
unto them David to be their king; to whom also he
gave testimony, and said, I have found David the
son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which
Acts 13:22
shall fulfil all my will.
In Psalm 51:12, he said Restore unto me the

joy of your salvation, and uphold me with your free
spirit. Then in verse 13, David, after God had met him,
turned his attention to others and said, Then will I
teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall be
converted unto thee.

Part of Restoring others is bringing the gospel to

those you love, instructing those sinners in Zion who
are being separated from the refreshing of the Lord and
making disciples of them.
I, Henry, in my generation, say, Restore! I,
Henry, in my generation, am my brothers keeper. I say,
Be delivered, in the name of the Lord. I say, Be
Restored in the name of the Lord. What I have
received I must give out. You and I have been called to
be a gift from God to creation forever. Be a gift. Be an
epistle, not a Scud missile. Be a part of the solution, not
part of the pollution of mankind.
These are the 8 Rs to Freedom. They are steps
and tools you now have to use to find your way to
freedom
out
of
bondage.
Recognize!
Take
Responsibility! Repent for participating with sin!
Renounce it! Remove it! Resist it! Rejoice before the
Lord! Restore others.
The 8 Rs to Freedom represent the full cycle of
the gospel, from heaven to earth, giving the fruit of the
gospel on this planet through you.

Father, I thank You for Your Word today. I
thank You that I myself am a product of the
gospel. I thank You, Lord, for these
principles of the 8 Rs. I choose to live by
them everyday. Thank You for giving me the
