Faust's body is a heavily customized Steel Morph. He
forgoes biomorphs in the pursuit of asceticism, believing
that biological functions slow him down. Its shell is a
glossy moss green. The smooth plates of armor covering
it from head to toe resembles a strange, vaguely
insectoid, musculature. His smart clothing usually takes
the form of a minimalistic dark business suit.

A few years later Faust had a chance encounter with

an Ultimate, clad in a new Remade model. He was
jarringly reminded of the Falls horrors but worked up
enough courage to speak to the stranger. It turned out
that the woman had fought not half a kilometre from the

The conversation ended soon after, but Faust gained a

glimmer of hope. Perhaps this was the answer to his
needs. To no longer would have to rely on the mercy of
others, to be generous or selfish from a position of
strength not placid apathy and weakness. Faust
contacted the Ultimates and began the process of
becoming an Aspirant. He threw himself into the
crucible of rapid self-improvement with the fervour of a
fanatical convert, desperate to wash away his

Kaiser Faust (suspected pseudonym) rarely talks about

his previous life working as corporate security back on
Earth. That man was a pitiful creature. During the Fall
he was just another rat fleeing a sinking ship. Faust
could never have made it off world were it not for the
actions of Manu Bhattacharya. He witnessed Manus
fearsome fighting in defence of the last space elevator,
seeing first hand the work of his so-called "Ultimates.
They were as tigers to men.

original thought and current dissatisfaction with the rest
of transhumanitys shortsightedness. They profess a
long-term plan to establish a separate civilization
beyond the gates so Ultimates would be free from
transhumanity's collective weakness. Faust longs for
the day when his brothers and sisters can leave the rest
of unt transhumanity behind.
