CAROLYN ESTHER MERRICK PULS

BARTON LEROY PULS

Carolyn Merrick Puls was born May 14, 1925. She graduated from
Rockford High School in 1943. (This was the last graduating class for the old
Rockford High School as two new high schools were built – one was East
Rockford High School and the other West Rockford High School. She retired from
Swedish American Hospital (volunteer department). She married Barton Leroy
Puls (born February 27, 1923 in Belvidere, Il.) on September 20, 1947. Bart is retired
from Woodward Govenor Co., Rockford, Il. They currently live at 4845 Pine
Meadows Parkway #1, Loves Park, Il. They have three children listed here in the
order of their birth:

1 John (“Jack” ) Barton Puls was born August 7, 1949 at St. Anthony's Hospital,
Rockford, Il. He graduated from Harlem High School, Loves Park, Il.
in 1967. Jack attended Rock Valley College, Rockford, Il., for two years
and then Colorado State University at Ft. Collins, Co., where he graduated in
1971. He married Kathy Rylander (birth date not known) in July, 1980 in
Boulder, Colorado and was divorced in August of 1983. He currently
lives at 1500 Carmelita, Apt. 4, Burlingame, Ca.. and is employed at Mercedes
Benz in Ca.
2 Steven Merrick Puls was born August 8, 1954, at Swedish American Hospital,
Rockford, Il. He married Patricia McDermott on September 4, 1973, in
Roscoe, Il. She was born January 8, 1954. They were divorced on December 1,
1976. Steve married Susan Ramsey on December 16, 1978, and they were
divorced January 28, 1989. Sue was born on September 23, 1946. Steve
married Karen L. Hatlestad on November 18, 2005. Karen's birthday is
March 5, 1950. Steve is employed by Edward Hines Lumber Co., Kirkland, Il.,
as an accountant. Steve and Patricia have one child:
1 Steven Thomas Puls, born February 13, 1974. He married Colleen
Bauman on April 1, 2000 and was divorced March 1, 2004. He currently
lives at 1604 No. Church St., Rockford, Il. They have one son:
1 Brendon Puls, born on April 13, 1995. Brendon and his mother
live in Belvidere, Ill. He spends almost every holiday with
his paternal grandparents (Carol and Bart Puls).

3 Jeffrey Garfield Puls was born March 22, 1957, at Swedish American Hospital
in Rockford, Il. He graduated from Harlem High School in Loves Park,
 Il. in 1975. He attended Rock Valley College in Rockford, Il., two years
and then to Western Illinois University in Macomb, Il., and graduated in 1979
with a Bachelor's Degree in Art. He currently lives at 12332 SW 5th St., Yukon,
Ok., and is employed as Manager of Food Service at the Yukon Hospital,

HAROLD IRVIN PETERSON

Joanne (note change in spelling) Merrick Peterson was born May 6,

1930. She graduated in 1947 from East Rockford High School and married
Harold “Pete” Irvin Peterson on June 17, 1950. She retired in 1992 from Sentry Drug,
Rockford, Il. Harold Peterson was born December 9, 1929 and died January 10, 1993 of
colon cancer. He is buried in Lot #366 of Roscoe Cemetery in Roscoe, Il. He
retired a Captain in the Rockford Police Dept. and later worked as an instructor of
Police Science At Rock Valley College, Rockford, Il.. Joanne currently lives at 3665
Needles Hwy. Apt 26-B in Laughlin, Nv. with her sister, Lois Janet Orris. Her email

1 Janet Lorraine Peterson was born August 19, 1951, at St. Anthony's Hospital,
Rockford, Il. She graduated in 1969 from West Rockford High School and
graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1972 from Swedish American Hospital
School of Nursing, Rockford, Il. She became a “CCN” (Certified Case Manager)
which is a national certification for case managers who handle Workman's
Compensation Cases in 2006 at Houston, Tx. She currently is employed
by Travelers Property and Casualty Co. in Houston. She married Bruce
Wayne Coxhead Aug. 14, 1971 (name changed to Conrad). He graduated
from West Rockford High School in 1968 and attended Illinois State
University at Bloomington, Il. He also attended Southern Methodist
University in Houston and there he received his “MCSE” degree (Microsoft
Certified Software Engineer. He is employed by Hewlett Packard Co. in
Houston. They currently live at 1018 Tanglewild Lane,Richmond, Tx.

from Cy Fair College, in Cypress, Tx. in 2005 with an Associate
Degree in Liberal Arts. She is employed by Continental Airlines,
Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Joshua Michael O'Conner October
8, 2000. He was born Aug. 8, 1976. He graduated from Wendover
High School in Midland, Mich. He graduated from Lake Superior
State University with an Associate Degree in Fire Science. Josh
works for Eagle Environmental in North Salt Lake City, Ut. They

2 David Lawrence Peterson, born Nov. 18, 1953, in Swedish American
Hospital, Rockford, Il. He graduated from West Rockford High School in
1971. He graduated from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Il. 1975 with a
Bachelor's Degree in “Mathematics Education”. He received a Master's
Degree from Northern Illinois University in 1977 in “Applied Mathematics”.
He retired from Lucent Technologies, Lisle, Il. In 2005. He currently

3 Pat Louis Peterson was born October 29, 1958, in Swedish American Hospital,
Rockford, Il. He graduated from West Rockford High School, Rockford, Il. in
1976. He works for Alpine Bank of Illinois, Rockford, Il. He married Lisa
Renee' St. Vincent on December 9, 1978. She was born October 12 ,1958, and graduated
from Boylan High School, Rockford, Il. in 1976. She works for Curves for

4 Scott Leland Peterson, born June 7, 1962, in Swedish American Hospital,

in 1980. He works for Target Distribution Center, DeKalb, IL. He married
Carole Ann Baldwin (born August 17, 1962) on May 11, 1984. They
were divorced March 31, 1998. There is one child:
Jennifer Lynn Peterson, born December 21, 1989.
He married Susan Marie Hultgren (born May 27, 1959) on April 4, 2000.

MAURICE LLOYD ORRIS

Lois Janet Orris was born August 22, 1932. She graduated in 1950
from West Rockford High School and married Robert Raymond Leifker
(born May 14, 1930) on May 3, 1955. They were divorced August 24, 1961. He died
July 4, 1974 and is buried in Galena, Il.
There was one child:
1 Daniel Benjamin Leifker, born August 28, 1957 (in Wichita General Hospital,
Wichita Falls, Tx. In 1973 he was elected to the National Honor Society (in his
junior year) and he graduated from West Rockford High School in 1975. He
graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, Md. in 1982 with
a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He received a Master's Degree in
Computer Science in 1982 from the University of Maryland. He was in the
United States Air Force from 1977 to 1981, leaving the service with the
rank of Staff Sergeant. He currently is employed by Sapias, Inc., in San
Francisco, Ca. He currently resides at 695 Castro St. #2, San Francisco,

She married Clayton Harrison Hudson in June of 1962 and they were divorced in
November 1962. She married Maurice “Pete” Lloyd Orris on October 21, 1978.
He died July 7, 1992 from a heart attack in Las Vegas, Nv. He is buried in Lot 381 in
Roscoe Cemetery, Roscoe, Il. He retired from Consolidated Freightways in 1980.
They then operated Dorr Road Kennels in So. Beloit, for approximately five years.
Lois Orris was a member of the Teamsters Union and retired from Consolidated
Freightways in 1982 after working there for 22 years. She currently lives with her
sister, Joanne Peterson, at 3665 Needles Hwy., Apt 26-B in Laughlin, Nv. Her email
