The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to constitute the following "District
Level Electricity Committees" for the effective monitoring and implementation of the Deendayal
Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) and lntegrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) for

The Member Secretary of the Committee shall ensure that meetings of the
Committee be held regularly and quarterly report be sent to the Nodel Agency i.e. REC & PFC
as the case may be.

The minutes of the meetings wiil be issued

by the convenor.
The committee shall be consulted in the preparation
of DpRs under DDUGJy and
IPDS and would monitor the implementation
of these schemes in their respective jurisdiction.
The committee would also review the quality
of power suppry and consumer satisfaction
and
would promote energy efficiency and energy
conservation. The committee will also
review and
monitor the implementation of all central
Schemes in power sector in their respective
jurisdiction
The above District Electricity committees
shall meet at least once in three months
at the District headquarter.
