Sincethebeginningoftheyear,wehavehadseveralstudentsmoveintoour1st,2nd,
and6thgradeclass.WearehappytoreceiveeverystudentthatcomesourwayandaddstoourNancyHanks
family!Our6thgradeclassisnowat31students.Asthisclasssizeismanageable,itisnotideal.Starting
nextweek,wewillbeaddinganother6thgradeteachertotheafternoonschedule.Ourkindergartenhasa
smallnumberofstudents,allowingustocombinetheseclassesintheafternoononly.Firstgradewillnot
changeclasssizes,butoneclasswillbenefitfromtwoofourgreatstaffmembers.Asalways,Iwouldbe
happytoansweranyquestionsregardingyourchildseducation!

arecominghomethisweekwithstudentsingradesK2.Thesereportsandscoresare
usedtohighlightafewofthemostimportantskillsandconceptsthathavebeenidentifiedateachgradelevel.
Thisisoneassessmentandisusedtogiveasnapshotofyourchildsprogressoncertainskills.Remediation
isgivenwhenachilddoesnotshowmasteryonabenchmark.

Water Aerobics & Community Open Swim Nights
Heritage Hills High School Swimming Pool
Water Aerobics (low-impact exercise for all fitness levelsperformed in the
shallow end of the swimming pool) and Community Open Swim nights will be
hosted by the Tri-County YMCA on Wednesday evenings at the Heritage Hills High
School Pool beginning in January. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Water Aerobics:

* Class Fee: Y MembersFREE
