CIRCULAR TO ALL BRANCHES / OFFICES
Dearness Allowance payable to Officers and
Workmen Staff for the months of November,
December 2015 and January 2016 in terms of 10th
Bipartite Settlement / Joint Note dated 25.05.2015
The confirmed figures of All India Average Consumer Price Index Numbers
for Industrial Workers (Base 1960 = 100) for the quarter ended September 2015
are as follows :July 2015

Consequently, Dearness Allowance to employees is payable for 398 slabs
for the period November, December 2015 and January 2016, i.e. an increase of
34 slabs over the current level.
3.
Accordingly, the dearness allowance payable to the Officers and Workmen
Staff in terms of Clause 3 of the Joint Note and Clause 7 of the 10th Bipartite
Settlement dated 25.05.2015 for the months of November, December 2015 and
January 2016 shall be 39.80% of Pay. While arriving at Dearness Allowance
payable, decimals from third place may please be ignored.
4.
Please note importantly that in the case of clerical and subordinate staff
members, Dearness Allowance will be calculated and paid after adding Basic Pay
to the Special Pay, Graduation Pay & Professional Qualification pay, payable
under 10th Bipartite Settlement.
5.
Please also note that the Dearness Allowance being paid to the Officers in
terms of this Circular will have to be treated as paid on ad-hoc basis, pending
necessary amendments to the "Bank of India (Officers') Service Regulations,
1979/
