Project 1:
Customer : OREDA (Orissa Renewable Energy Development Agency)
Project Name : Remote Monitoring Mechanism- RMM
Period : April 2009 – Till date
Project Type : Development
Skill Set : C, C++, Visual C#
Environment : Arduino14, MicroVision4, Visual Studio 2008.
Role : Senior Embedded Developer, Software Developer.
Responsibilities Performed:
• In developing Real Time Operating System code for RMM Embedded Device.
• In developing Real Time Operating System code for Data Logger.
• Developed application for loading the data in to the database in c#.
• Developed Graphical User Interface in c#.
• Involved in preparing documentation of project.
• Involved in giving production support.
The main objective of this project is to monitor the energy consumption by the households in the remote location. And the
details are updated in the server by the GSM Modem attached to the Data Logger. Due to which no need to go to the remote
areas for collecting the energy consumption. By the end of each day the energy consumption report of each household of a
village will be available / updated at OREDA server.
Project 2:
Customer : Commissionerate Police
Project Name : GPS Vehicle Tracking
Period : Dec 2008 – March 2009
Project Type : Development
Skill Set : C, C++, Visual C#
Environment : Arduino15, Visual Studio 2008
Role : Team Lead and Senior Embedded Developer
Responsibilities Performed:
• For development of RTOS for GPS Vehicle Tracker.
• For development of web application for loading geographic positions to the server and draw maps.
• For development of Graphical User Interface to visualize the movement of the Vehicle.
• For preparing documentation of project.
• For giving production support.
Brief description of the project:
The main objective of this project is to keep track of the vehicles used by police force in bhubaneswar. This device consists
of a GPS receiver, a GSM/GPRS modem, and microcontroller. GPS receiver used in the tracker stores the GPS information
and then through GSM/GPRS modem it will update the geographic positions to the police head quarter server. By our web
application program there movement can be viewed in real time on the Google maps. The Geographical position (latitude
and longitude) information of all police stations in Bhubaneswar including the police head quarters is stored in this device.
There is a button in the device which acts like an alarm for police. If anything happens they just need to press that button
and after pressing that button our device will first match the co-ordinates of the current location with the previously stored
co-ordinates of the police stations. If there is any match then a SMS will be sent to that location the nearest one, else a SMS
will be sent to the head quarter. So with in 5 to 10 minutes backup will be available.
Project 3:
Customer : OREDA (Orissa Renewal Energy Development Agency)
Project Name : SOLAR GPS LOGGER
Period : Feb2008 - Nov2008
Project Type : Land Survey
Skill Set : C, BASIC, PHP
Environment : Swordfish, Dream weaver
Role : Team Lead and Embedded Programmer, Software Developer.
Responsibilities Performed:
• Developed RTOS for SOLAR GPS LOGGER Device.
• Developed Graphical User Interface in PHP.
• Involved in preparing documentation of project.
• Involved in giving production support.
The main objective of this project is to survey the unused land of Government of Orissa.
Main components in SOLAR GPS LOGGER are a GPS (Geographical Position Sensor) receiver, a solar panel. It keeps
storing latitude and longitude information extracted from NMEA sentences received from GPS receiver in XML format SD
card by creating text files. Later from the SD/MMC card the text files are inputted to a web application which will draw the
surveyed area and it marks by putting markers. If you click in the middle of the survey area drawn, a popup box will appear
which will display the area and perimeter of surveyed land in square kilometers and kilometers. If you click on any marker
a popup box will be displayed with the latitude and longitude of that point.
Project 4:
Customer : FOREST DEPARTMENT OF ORISSA

Skill Set : Visual C#
Environment : Visual Studio 2008.
Role : Senior Embedded Developer, Software Developer.
Responsibilities Performed:
• Designed system architecture.
• Developed code for system functionality.
• Developed the server side application.
• Involved in preparing documentation.
• Involved in giving production support.
Project 5:
Customer : FOREST DEPARTMENT OF ORISSA
Project Name : GPS Map Viewer
Period : Jan2007-Feb2008
Project Type : Development
Skill Set : C, C++, Visual C#
Environment : Arduino15, Visual Studio 2008.
Role : Embedded Developer, Software Developer.
Responsibilities Performed:
• Designed system architecture.
• Developed code for system functionality.
• Developed the server side application.
• Involved in preparing documentation.
• Involved in giving production support.
The main objective of this project is to view the forest lands which are unreachable by the surveyors. In this project 3D
helicopters are used. When these helicopters reached the predefined height, the device takes pictures and uploads those
pictures to the server of forest department. The device consists of a powerful camera, a GSM/GPRS modem and a
microcontroller. The device is programmed to take pictures at certain predefined locations. A GSM/GPRS modem is
attached to it for sending / uploading pictures to the server using GPRS connectivity.
