Assignment 8 Test your Audio

Sound Advice need you to get audience feedback on your recordings, you cannot
just submit them and expect them to be perfect. You will need to export and
compress your audio as mp3s so that they can be shared and listened to quickly.
Gather at least two peoples feedback from your target audience.
Task 10 Edit audio assets to create two digital audio products each of at least
three minutes nany necessary improvements to the products. (P5)
Export your recordings as mp3s. You can then select two reviewees to give
feedback on whether the criteria has been met. This will help you achieve a
partial Grade C in Learning Aim C.

order to pass the criteria.

As an extension to Task 9 you can either ask the same two reviewees or two new
from your audience to document improvements that should be made. You will
also have to show evidence that you have improved the recordings after the
feedback.
Task 11 Gather feedback from others on the quality of the digital audio products
and use it to improve the product, demonstrating awareness of audience and
purpose. (M4)
Get two reviewees to complete an improvements to be made section. Look at
the feedback and action it. Provide evidence that you have completed what has
been suggested in the section labelled improvements actioned. This will help
you achieve a partial Grade B in Learning Aim C.

and provide the evidence of these changes.

Sound advice wants to check your work up to this point. Export your final audio
pieces as both .wav and .mp3 and provide all of your paperwork up to and
including this document to your advisor (teacher). They will then discern whether
you have worked at a professional level.
Task 12 Refine audio assets to create two high-quality digital audio products.

You will need to submit all work to your teacher including your final audio pieces.
They will then complete the final witness statement that will confirm whether
you have worked at a Grade A level in Learning Aim C.

Distinction Witness statement


Has the employee documented any improvements, including updating the source
table for ready-made assets.

Does the employee understand the reason for exporting and compressing audio files
(e.g. to ensure format is appropriate for reviewers or users).

Did the employee export and compress the audio product into a suitable final file
type (e.g. .mp3, .wav, .wma).
