Community Volunteer and Leader for the past 30 years. I have mentored youth,
founder of the Living Testimonies Ministries Evangelical Christian Church and
have assisted in the Organizing Directorship of the Canada Association for Karate
Schools and Zanshin School of Karate.
My Objective in this by-election is to bring back a consciousness of God into the lives
of those who are oppressed, unemployed, homeless, and reach them with the
Necessary programs by which they can access Health Issues, Transportation Issues,
Addiction Issues, and simple human fears. I have with my organizing committee gone
into the streets to feed and to supply clothing of all sorts to deal with the weather and
supply Hot healthy meals and food.
Ultimately my goal, in representing my Party, in this bye-election is two-fold. First is
to gain the trust of the people of Whitby and Oshawa so that we can communicate
with them in the process of educating them to the several resources that are available
for help.
Secondly, from this political standpoint when I am elected I will be able to negotiate
and handle strong issues like same-sex, high youth unemployment rate in all of
Durham; Attracting industries that will pay good sustainable jobs; affordable seniors
homes; improve transportation, and significantly reduce the high incidence of drug
trafficking in the Whitby/Oshawa Durham Region.
I will be a voice and I herby seek the support in being Whitby/Oshawa Region.
Future Jobs, for an arising generation of new Entrepreneurs in their fields of endeavor
will be available to accommodate this work force.
It is the responsibility of every elected government to receive services from its
citizens and also render services in return.
When a nation is overburdened with taxes, nothing is more difficult than to levy them
equally.
How then do we correctly link the education and the employment? What are the
alternatives, who are qualified with the right skills, the training for the right jobs, the
funding that is available, the production and manufacturing jobs, the agriculture, the
quality of such industry within that nations education to generate the natural human
resources for that production starting within the very school system from early as
grade one.
In the light of true democracy the state has no resources of its own. It has nothing, it
possesses nothing that it does not take from the workersso then the human
resources of its citizens should be complimented with the best education available for
all --- rich, middle class, and for those who are financially suffering.
Lastly, Costly government apparatus inevitably falls on citizens and this is an
oppressive burden to them.
I am Garry Cuthbert, and I will treasure your vote in representing you in the
Whitby/Oshawa by election on the 11th February.
When civil government rise up and institute this type of lifestyle against what God
forbids, that nation is now taking the place of God which is unlawful and is now in
rebellion against the Creator whose design is ridiculed, immortalized and mocked.
That Nation will be judged because of its disobedience.
I am against this rebellion of witchcraft. Not only this but it put a further weight and
strain on the national economy and the Health Care System because of the sickness
and disease of that lifestyle which is spread among those that live accordingly.
We, however, are called to forgive and to justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly
with our God in such matters as these and to restore with meekness. The hope and
healing for anyone who has broken the natural and moral laws of the universe is to
repent to God and faith in Jesus Christ.
All I can say is regarding the environment, he always discusses about the use of the
airport lands for farmland to improve the food security of the region, and to help feed
the homeless and poor in Durham. The issue of the oil pipelines is a very important
one. What is Gary's position on this. Does he feel that this will boost the Durham
economy and create jobs? Or will this also be a contentious issue with regards to the
environment?
Or can a compromise be reached: that is can the government agree to vitalize Durham
by allowing the use of the airport lands to boost agriculture and food security while
still building the airport which will not only bring jobs because of the airport but will
attract businesses to the area?
Would the pipeline even pass through Durham?
Regarding old age , more unto date yet affordable age related condo complexes should
be made a valuable with medical staff on hand to help. How do we facilitate this, to
make sure they are safe and not abused? what preventative programs are there for
dementia etc? how will he see such implemented?
As for kids with disabilities such as autism -while schools boards are improving on
their tools for assessment, what is really relevant is the day to day of the kids with the
teachers.
The teachers have to be trained , like really trained in how to teach and relate with
kids with Autism, especially high functioning autism. There needs to be not just a
diagnosis, but follow up on what are the particular needs, learning style and the ability
to effectively implement the recommendations with each student. There can't be
inconsistencies, like one teacher knowing or having some experience and another not
having any experience nor empathy or care to learn.
We also have to prepare them effectively for their adult life and being job ready or
ready for post secondary. Programs end at 18 or if they qualify it's a long waiting list.
Agencies and schools must be in more communication with each other and the parents
as a team to make these kids become successes not liabilities in the community.
