TheEvangelististhemiddlefingeronGodsHand.Itisthelongestfingerandis
thereforeindicativeoftheministryofoutreach.WhenJesussatforhoursoutside
thetemple,andeventhecity,andtaughtallthatchosetohear,Hewaswalkingin
theanointingoftheevangelist.PhilipsawaeunuchreadingIsaiahandnoticedthe
mandidnotunderstandwhathewasreading.Hestoppedwhathewasdoingand
explainedthewordtotheman,resultinginbaptismandsalvation.Philipwasan
evangelist.

8OnthenextdaywewhowerePaulscompanionsdepartedandcameto
Caesarea,andenteredthehouseofPhiliptheevangelist,whowasoneofthe
seven,andstayedwithhim.

QUANTITYNOTQUALITY

Todaymanholdsbigcrusades,notchinghisbeltwiththousandswhocome
forwardinanswertoanemotionalappealfromtheEvangelist.Manytimesthey
arenotevendrawnbytheHolySpirit.Theuseofnewspapers,rockbandsand
wellthoughtouttracts,alongwithhighpublicitymagazinesetc.replacesthe
wooingoftheSpirit.Jesussaid,ifIbeliftedup,IwilldrawallmenuntoMe.
ItsunderstoodthattheSpiritcanuseanythingHewantstodrawpeople,butHe
wouldnotuseadvertisementormusicthatisworldly.Abadtreeweknowcannot
producegoodfruit,justlargenumbersofpeoplethatwillrepeataformulated
prayerafterthesocalledevangelist,andmistakenlythinktheyareforeversaved!

Imnotsayingthatweshouldntpreachtothemultitudes.WhatIamsaying
thoughisthatthetrueevangelistwillpreachrevelationknowledgeanddependon
theWordandtheanointingthatisonit,toreachthepeople.RemembertheWord
isChristHimself.Heistruth,andthepeoplethatarereallylookingformoreof
Godwillrespond.Forinstance,Jesuspreachedinthesynagoguesandwassowell
receivedthatliterallymultitudesfollowedHim.Somewerejustcuriousand
didntstay.Butstill,Hedidnotpreachanold,moldyorlukewarmmessage

surroundedwithalotofadvertisementandhypejusttohavefollowers,ifthey
respondedbybeingbaptizedafterhearingJesusmessagethatwaswonderful,but
theydidsounderstandingtheymustchangeandthattheirwalkfromthenonmust
beholy!

Hepreachedthekingdommessage,theBeatitudes,teachinghowGodspeople
aretowalk.Hetalkedaboutoaths,marriage,adultery,howtolove,andon
forgiveness.Hetaughtthemhowtopray,howtostayonthenarrowpathof
righteousnessandhowtojudgebythefruitofpeopleslivesiftheybetrueor
falseservantsofGod.Thiswasallinonepreach!ThisishowHisanointingcould
keeptheattentionofthepeople.HedidntwasteHistimeonthetwentyminute
messagethatissopopularinmuchoftodayschurch.Ashortmessagetosatisfya
peoplethatarentreallyhungryforGodwasforsomeoneelsetoteachotherthan
Jesus!WeseeproofofthisinMatt4:23.Ittakestherestofchapterfour,allof
chapterfive,sixandseventotellofthisoneaccount!Hedidnttickletheirearsor
flatterthemeither,Hetaughtthingsthatastonishedthepeoplewiththeauthority
andanointingofGodthatwasonHiswords.SeetheendinginMatt7:2829.

InJohn6wefindanotherinstanceofJesusteaching.Thisaccountshoulddispel
theliethatweshouldntpreachanydepthtonewones.iftheyareHissheepand
potentialdisciples,theywillbedrawntothewordsandtheHolySpiritwill
explainthemeaningiftheyaretrulycalledbyHim.Readonyourownwhenyou
havetime,John6:2463.Hiswordswerespiritandlife.Manylefthowever:His
preachwastoohard.Theydidntlikewhattheyweretold,butthosewho
remainedwerereallyGodspeople.Theychosetonolongerbeapartofreligion,
theywereenlightenedbyHismessageandthereforenotapartofthedeceived
ones.ItshardtounderstandhowanyonecouldwalkawayfromJesus!

John6:60provesthattheydid.
60ThereforemanyofHisdisciples,whentheyheardthis,said,Thisisahard
saying;whocanunderstandit?

Sowesee,thelightmessagetaughttoday,withallthehooplah,isnottheway
Jesusdidit.Histeachingswereorientedtowardsstartingthemonatruewalk
withGod.Heunderstoodsalvationwasnotaonetimething,norisitanymore
thanthemerebeginning!Thescripturestellustoworkoutourownsalvationwith
fearandtrembling.But,wemustalsobeunderthecoveringofGodsgovernment
tobetaughtandtrainedtoaccomplishthis.

COURTYARDCHRISTIANS

Itisthefalsedoctrineofoncesaved,alwayssavedthatgivestodaysevangelists
theexcusetooperateinsuchahaphazard,lukewarmmanner.Sadly,newly
convertedpeopleareleftstandingoutintheworldwiththefalsesecuritythatthey
areinrightstandingwithGodforever.Theydontknowthereismore.Thefact
is,allthesebabyChristianshavedoneisenterthefrontgatesoftheCourtyard
leadingintoNewJerusalem.Thereissomuchmore.Seethediagram.

ThosewhoareinthecourtyardthathavebeenselectedbyGodtobeapartofHis
governmentwillneverbetrainedtofulfilltheirserviceorseethefulfillmentof
theprophecyfoundinHosea6:2.

Hosea6:2
2Aftertwodays(athousandyearsisasadaytotheLord)Hewillreviveus(His
government);onthethirddayHewillraiseusup(outofthegraveofbaptism),
thatwemayliveinHissight(throughHisresurrection).

Again,thisisaprophecyforetellingtheresurrectionoftheendtimeGovernment
ofGod,thefivefold,theheadoftheBodyofChrist.Bodymembers,calledto
uniteinthisendtimetostandagainstAntichrist,willmisstheircallalso.Wesee
thisprophecyinRevelation11:11.

11NowafterthethreeandahalfdaysthebreathoflifefromGodenteredthem,
andtheystoodontheirfeet,andgreatfearfellonthosewhosawthem.

Nolongeraretheyjustpewsitters,idlenobodies,butwarriorsinthearmyof
God!Ofcoursethishappensonlyiftheyareherdedintoaplacetobetaughtand
trained.AsthegovernmentofGodpreachestruth,orshinesthelightof
understandingonthewordsoflifepertainingtotheselastdays,thebodyofChrist
willrise.Somefromthelukewarm,compromising,deadchurch,otherswill

abandontheworldsystemstouniteinoneaccordwiththehead.Thefullstature
ofChristwillmergetogether,butthepeoplemuststillbepreparedevenfurther!
Theyarerequiredtohavetheirlampsfulloftheoiloftruthsotheycanbecome
theLightofGod,thechurchtriumphantandeternal.Theymustmatureand
becomethelawovertheirsoulmaniftheyaretoexperiencetheglorificationof
theirownphysicalbodiesaswell!

Rom.8:23
23Notonlythat,butwealsowhohavethefirstfruitsoftheSpirit,evenwe
ourselvesgroanwithinourselves,eagerlywaitingfortheadoption,the
redemptionofourbody.

Manyinthechurchneverevenheardofbeingglorified,orregenerated.Theytake
deathforgrantedwithnohopeofimmortalityfortheirbodiesaswellastheir
spiritsandsouls.

ANEWGENERATION

Ps.102:18
18Thiswillbewrittenforthegenerationtocome,thatapeopleyettobe

createdmaypraisetheLORD.

BaptismandresurrectionasanewcreaturemakeoneasaintaftertheOrderof
Melchizedekwithnobeginningandnoend.Theyareadifferentkindofspecies
thantheoffspringofAdam.

ThenewbornmustberootedintoafamilyofGodspeoplethatwillnourishthem
tomaturityhowever.Onlythroughtherightmannaorspiritualfoodwilltheybe
abletoseewiththeeyeofdiscernmentthespiritualknowledgethatwilltakethem
throughtheendtime.TheyalsoneedtobefilledwiththeSpiritsotheeyesand
earsoftheirspiritmancanbeopened.Theymustbetaughthowtowalkwiththe
HolySpirit,andworkinthegiftstobeabletodiscernthegoodandevilfruitin
peoplesotheyarenotdeceived.Theyneedtogrowup,sotheycanbefedmore
solidfoodandlearnhowtooperateinthearmyofGodandfulfilltheircalls.

Heb.5:14speaksofthisverything:
14Butsolidfoodbelongstothosewhoareoffullage.thatis,thosewhoby
reasonofusehavetheirsensesexercised(practicetheirgiftsoftheSpirit)to
discernbothgoodandevil.

So,asweseefromthediagramoftheTabernacle,thenewconvertmustleavethe
LaverandgoontotheMenorahtoexperiencetheFeastofPentecost.Howmany
evangelistsevenknowthistruthletaloneteachit?Andyetonlyinthelightofthe
menorahcanthenewbornrecognizetheneedfortheProphetandApostleintheir
lifetoprodthemonandraisethemuptotaketheirpartinTheKingdomofGod.
Hereisanothersad,buttrue,statement.IftheHolySpiritisnotdwellinginus,
anotherspiritwilleventuallycometomakeushishome:Antichrist!Peoplethat
arenotmovingforwardontheHighwayofHolinessgetboredbeinginthesame
placeandintimebecomemoreinterestedinthepleasuresfoundintheworld.
Alongwiththepleasureshowever,theyencounterthespiritthatgovernsthe
world.Thisspirithates,andisanti,Jesus.It'sthespiritofSatan,thelawlessone,
Antichrist.

3Letnoonedeceiveyoubyanymeans;forthatDaywillnotcomeunlessthe
fallingawaycomesfirst,andthemanofsinisrevealed,thesonofperdition,(the
bodyofSatan[Antichrist])
4whoopposesandexaltshimselfaboveallthatiscalledGodorthatis
worshiped,sothathesitsasGodinthetempleofGod,showinghimselfthatheis
God.

Now,whatisthetempleofGod?

19OrdoyounotknowthatyourbodyisthetempleoftheHolySpiritwhoisin
you,whomyouhavefromGod,andyouarenotyourown?

THELUKEWARMEVANGELISTBUILDSTHEWRONGTEMPLE

IfwearenotguidedtobecomeapartofthebodyofChristwhichisthetemple
thathousesGod,wewillbecomeapartofthebodyofSatanandbecomethe
templethathouseshim.AntichristwillstandagainstJesusChristthroughthe
humanrace.WithouttheChurchbeingprepared,theAntichristSpiritwilltake
over.Godsunderfedpeoplealongwiththeheathenwillendupapartofthe
TempleofAntichristthankstosalvationpackageswithouttruefollowup.Guess
what,wearetalkingaboutthespiritualconditionofaverylargepartofthe
churchtoday!SowhatIamsayingis:theevangelistmustpointthemtoa
coveringthatcanproperlycleanthemup,educatethemandprotectthemfromthe
enemythatwilldefinitelytrytostealtheirsalvation.ForthisreasontheGod
chosenandpreparedEvangelistisaveryimportantpartofGodsgovernment.

THEBATTLEBEGINS

RightnowtheHolySpiritisholdingbackthespiritofthelawlessonewhilethe
bodyofChristisbeingpreparedandreachesfullstature,butsoonthebattlewill
beon.Theripeeschatologicalmomentwillarrive,anditwillbecomevery
apparentwhichsidewearereallyon.Ministersthatrefusetogrowwiththeend
timereleasedknowledgebecomethegeneralsinSatansarmyandendupsome
ofthemostprominentblackstonesthatbuildSatanstemple.They,likethesheep
theyfool,areapartofthebodyofSatan.Beware!Thosethathaveheardtruth,
butrefusetochangeandreturntotheworld,pleaseavoid:

9ThecomingofthelawlessoneisaccordingtotheworkingofSatan,withall
power,signs,andlyingwonders(Thisiswhywecantbelieveinpeoplejust
becausetheyoperateinpowerorsignsandwonders),
10andwithallunrighteousdeceptionamongthosewhoperish(whydothey
die?),becausetheydidnotreceivetheloveofthetruth,thattheymightbe
saved(thesearethecounterfeittemple).

Inclosing,didyouknowthateventhealtarcallsarenotscriptural?Didyou
realizethattheywerenotintroducedtothechurchuntilapproximately150years
ago?So,altarcalls,worldlytacticsandemotionalgimmickstodrawlargecrowds
arecertainlynottheinventionoftheHolySpiritandwereneverapartoftheearly
Apostolicchurchsministry.Howwillweknowthetrueendtimeevangelist?
TherewillbenomistakingthepoweroftheSpiritifHeistheonedrawingthem
throughtheanointedpreachingoftheevangelist.

2Tim.4:15
1IchargeyouthereforebeforeGodandtheLordJesusChrist,whowilljudgethe
livingandthedeadatHisappearingandHiskingdom:
2Preachtheword!Bereadyinseasonandoutofseason.Convince,rebuke,
exhort,withalllongsufferingandteaching.

5Butyoubewatchfulinallthings,endureafflictions,dotheworkofan
evangelist,fulfillyourministry.

Thenationswillcomeontherun,becauseGodthroughtheevangelististheGreat
ShepherdcallinghomeHisSheep.JehovahRohelivesthroughtheevangelist.
