April 3, Sun.- The fellowship meal today is provided by the Bible Quiz teams as a
fundraiser meal. All are invited! Thank you for your support of our quiz teams during the
2016 season!
April 7, Wed.- Youth Bible Study will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
April 8-10, Fri.-Sun.-Today is the last day to sign up for the Ladies Retreat. Info is on the
display in the narthex. When signing up, please include if you are available to drive.

Apr. 17, Sun.- 9 a.m.-Part of the Safe Church Training involves two educational
sessions led by Lancaster Mennonite Conference staff, for the congregation. The first
was held 9/13/15 and was recorded and is available on our website. The second will be
a combined Sunday School class in the auditorium for the senior high youth through
older adult classes. With the help of the Child Protection Committee, plans are being
made to try allow Sunday School teachers to participate in this session.
Apr. 27, Wed,-9 a.m.-2 p.m.-Spring Senior Day at Woodcrest Retreat. Brian Martin,
pastor of Weaverland Mennonite will share. Afternoon music by The Pine Ridge
Ramblers. Lunch provided. Freewill offering. Call 717-738-2233 for reservations.
May 10-12,16,17,19-5-8 p.m.-Church Photo Directory - Photo Sessions. Sheila
Hoover, photographer and relative of Dean & Emily Hoover, will be helping us to
redo/update our church photo directory. Look for sign-ups on back table. She is also
looking for volunteers that would be willing to make sure everyone is scheduled as
well as volunteers to host/usher people in at their appropriate times the evenings of the
portrait sessions.
-Gehman's Mennonite School's Annual Chicken BBQ, Baked Goods & Yard Sale
will be held on April 16, 2016.Tickets may be purchased in advance by April 3 from
Kylie or Madison Hoover or Autumn, Janae, Zachary, Mark, or Micah Sauder. Prices:
Leg & Thigh-$4.25, Half Chicken-$6.75, Leg & Thigh Meal-$7.25, and Half Chicken
Meal-$9.25. Advance ticket chicken/meals may be picked up at the school on April
16, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Chicken may also be purchased at the school or Weaver's Store the
day of the sale.
-The worship team is looking for additional people to help with vocals. If you have
any interest please contact Nelson Horning or Darlene McCosby.
-Some of Esther Snader's family will be visiting her. If you would like to send
along a card or letter for her or anyone else you know in Anquing, please have it in
Debbie Mast's mailbox by April 3.
-We wish to express our appreciation for your prayers, cards, flowers and visits
following Ruth Anns heart surgery. We are thankful for Gods continued presence
