Founded in 1976 by Mr Navin Asarpota, United Technology and Trading Co (here in referred to as UTTC) is the
oldest and the most renowned water feature and swimming pool company in the U.A.E. Experts in the field of
design, supply, installation, commissioning & maintenance of swimming pools, fountains & water features, UTTC
delivers the perfect solutions to all its customers.
Apart from establishing its sister company, United Pools Contracting (L.L.C.), United Technology & Trading Co.,
also began its operations in Abu Dhabi in 1998.
Partnering the best suppliers worldwide has enabled the company to deliver quality and reliability to customers
that is unrivalled by local competition. Additionally, keeping pace with the city, Uttc takes pride in 2000 swimming
pools and 1000 water features made till date.

architectural jobs.
In theory, swimming pools are fairly simple theyre just big basins of water. But on a hot summer day (especially
here in the Middle East), having an easily accessible swimming pool may just as well seem as the biggest blessing
available at the time. United Technology simply enhances this humanly feeling by being a part of the water works
industry.
A swimming pool can come in several different forms above-ground or in-ground; commercial, private, or
competition pools, a whirlpool, hot-tub, spa pool or a wave pool; a regular rectangular shaped to a random
patterned pool; a knife-edge or infinity edge / ocean pool (where in the swimming pool seems to merge with
the adjacent ocean) it all depends on the whims and fantasies of the decision maker.
Todays market allows one to beautify and accentuate a pool with no limits. One can add fibre optic or LED
lights, water jets, rock works, water falls, massage jets, computerized glass / ceramic tile designs, and so much
more From a traditional hamam to a modern knife-edge, all pools give the bather a feeling of bliss

State-of-the-art Fountains
United Technology has been constantly merging the latest technologies with innovative designs and programming
to architect magnificent waterworks. And thus, UTTC is way ahead in the ball game of artistic, conceptual, musical,
dancing water features; basically creating wonders for the public eye.
Fountains can be of many kinds. A dancing fountain, as it is commonly called, is an array of laminar jets that spurt
out water in an animated form. Basically the water is jutted out in pulses, so that the resultant break up in the
water creates the dancing effect. In this water feature, each jet operates independently, thus creating a beautiful
display of a well-synchronized dance. This magical and fun form of water works can be paired with colour lights
and / or a song, and sometimes even fire.
With the pairing of a song, comes another type of water feature called a musical fountain, the best example of
which is the famous Bellagio fountain in Las Vegas.The music that is paired with the dancing effect is controlled by
a simple, pre-programmed computer software.
A splash fountain, also known as a dry fountain, is a water feature that is without any boundaries and water pool.
The jets simply are placed at ground level so as to allow easy access to the public to enjoy and touch the water.
These kinds of water features are also known as a public splash pools, and are primarily for waterplay, where in
people can simply be amongst the water sprays.
A fountain or water feature not only gives peace and tranquillity, but also a beautiful visual effect to the eye.
