UGC NET Exam (National Eligibility Test)

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the National Eligibility
Test (NET) on behalf of the University Grants Commission.
It is a national level examination which is schedules to be conducted in June and December
every year.
This examination gets conducted to select best candidates for eligibility of Assistant
Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

This year Exam will be in July. Students can go for UGC NET Coaching.

TET Exam
TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers for state level teaching.

The test is Compulsory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to
Class 8.
Paper 1 is meant for getting post of teachers Class 1 to Class 5 .
Paper 2 is conducted for Class 6 to Class 8.
It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India.

SLET Exam
SLET : State Level Eligibility Test
This exam has been conducted foe getting the position of lectureship only in universities.
Candidates who clear the exam are eligible to apply the post of lecturer.
For applying this exam candidate must have completed his/her masters.

There are three level for this exam, paper1, paper2 and paper3

CTET Exam
CTET : Central Teacher Eligibility Test
Eligible only for TGT scale teaching, not for PGT.
Necessary if you want to teach in a govt. school.
As per the merit list of CTET drawn, you'll be able to choose govt. school of your choice.

You must be qualified Senior Secondary with at least 50 % marks. There will be two papers of CTET.

REET Exam
Rajasthan Eligibility Test for Teachers
It is an entrance exam in order to take admissions in third grade teachers.

Candidate must have cleared their B.Ed. before applying for this exam.
The candidate must have at least 45% marks with bachelor of elementary education for 4 years
or the diploma in elementary education for 2 years.
They must have at least fifty percent marks in B.Ed., B.A or B.Sc.
