To understand how to take MRP Run in Background for All SCM Network Plants, using
Transaction Code:-MDBT.

2.0 SCOPE:
To view Background MRP List.

3.0 METHOD:
Please follow the procedure as given below:

Menu Path SAP menu  Logistics  Production  MRP  Planning  Total
Planning  MDBT--Background MRP

Enter T. code:- MDBT

Select Scope of Planning

Select Processing Key: NETCH,


Create Purchase Req: 1,
Schedule Line: 1 No Schedule Line,
Create MRP List: 1 MRP List,
Planning Mode: 3 Delete & recreate
planning data,
Scedulling: 2 Lead Time Scheduling
and Capacity Planning,
Planning Date: Blank

Select 001-Deterministic MRP run (Materials with


MRP type 'PD')

After filling information please click on Attributes.

Save It (Ctrl S)

Enter Meaning Full Description

After Saving Variant you will get Variant SCM VB Saved.

See here New Planning


Variant Created.

After Successful SCM SNP Run then we need to start our background MRP Run through Tcode-
MDBT.

Then go Tcode: SM37- Job Overview


Execute

Enter User ID from which you have


started Background MRP

Select Background Job

After Successful completion of Background Job, please select the Job & then Click on Spool

materials are planned with Plant & their exception group.
