PELAYANAN KESEHATAN PUSKESMAS TABARINGAN

The current Indonesian university student medical school , exactly force in 2015 , is
entering a block of bioethics , humanities , and medical professionalism . and we get the
task of supervising us to make a field at some community health service centers in the city
of Makassar . in one generation we are divided into small groups consisting of 10-11 people
in one group . Group I consists of leafy , dio , elsa , tika , yasser , cindy , andira , Zamzam ,
aisya , ricky and me . based on the results given by the supervisor , we were placed in
tabaringan health centers in the city of Makassar . I had first heard about tabaringan health
centers . and according to the information from my friend , tabaringan health centers
located in the middle market . and sure enough, when I got there, the place is right in the
middle of the market . Public Health Center Tabaringan located at Jl . Tinumbu Lrg . 154 #
2 . This health center began serving patients at 08.00 am.
Field observations First day is on Tuesday , 5 January 2016 that day at 9 o'clock in
my group had gathered at the health center tabaringan . tabaringan to reach health centers
we have to park our vehicle far enough , because we live in health centers to make a field
located in the middle of the traditional markets which require that we passed through the
halls of a narrow market to get there . when I first got there I immediately glanced around
the health center . although tabaringan health centers located in the middle of the market,
the circumstances surrounding the puskesmas is quite neat and clean . no visible trash
-strewn .
the size of the land area is not too large health centers tend to be quite small even to
review the size of the health center that I have seen in general . I then explore each room
and the facilities in it . From the findings of my observations There is room for a review
Counters, Medical Clinic, Lounge, Teeth And Oral poly, poly maternal and child health
(MCH), immunization unit, laboratory, pharmacy, kitchen and two small bathrooms in
them. but that day we can do a thorough and careful observation , for optimum health

centers operational hours will soon be over .

We then said goodbye to the head of the clinic or doctor who represent the first sign
of our present absentee . regarding the licensing of our health center , we were given a letter
of introduction by the campus , who the day before had been brought by the chairman of
my group . We then return to the house each, with the first walk through the market .
traditional. in our minds all , raging 1 the same thing . why there is a health center whose
services are good enough in the market environment . I and friends then returned to
college , to continue the course that still exists on campus and prepared to continue our
observations tomorrow .
The next day I went on the field observations regarding this clinic . yesterday , we
were told that the immunizations will be done every Wednesday in the clinic tabaringan .
and that is the focus of me today . I observed the patient for immunization quite crowded .
so it looks queues that occur at the registration counters clinic. although it looks quite
crowded , it still looks so regular and orderly . many mothers and their babies are more or
less all are under the age of 3 years . appears sound of a baby crying outside health centers
due to ongoing vaccine shots . I then decided to follow the process of immunization the
patient waitress from start to finish.
Tabaringan in clinics serve many patients from the surrounding environment. Tabaringan
community health centers serving 12 rw and 5 villages in the city of Makassar. The second
day I was in the clinic tabaringan, before making further observations we see a doctor to
request permission to conduct field observations in the clinic tabaringan, before we diberian
briefing beforehand. A doctor explained to us, that tabaringan health center is open from
Monday to Saturday, and holidays on Sunday. open at 8pm until 1am. in clinics where
services are tabaringan each SOP is used as a guide in conducting any activity. tabaringan
in the clinic there are currently 3 doctors, one of them is a dentist. there are also a few
nurses and a pharmacist and head of pharmacy. there is also the staff and midwives who
have their respective roles. tabaringan in the clinic is divided into three polyclinics, namely

common poly, poly maternal and child health, and poly teeth and mouth. we also let 10
kinds of diseases are most often handled in the clinic tabaringan. tenth illness namely,

Hypertension, Diabetes mealliatus, Dermatitis, TB, Asthma, Vasofaringitis,

Arthritis, Dental abnormalities, Cephalgia, Mealgia .and most important is all tabaringan
public health center does not charge a penny or free. but not all diseases can be handled at
the clinic. other than that at this clinic can not serve inpatients. so the ministry is fairly
limited. tabaringan health centers also refer patients who should have been ascribed. after
listening to various explanation. We then divided into several groups, according to the
number of existing polyclinics, namely 3 poly. and I personally placed in poly maternal and
child health.I followed one of the works is the immunization program. I followed one of the
patient which will immunize their children, but before we ask permission prior to the
patient.
Her name is mrs. Andira and son named Yusuf syarif aged 7 months. From my
observation, andira mother first enrolled at the registration booth located in front. Later in
the book give immunizations. This book belongs to each immunization of infants and
toddlers enrolled in the health centers and personal. Inside are personal data of infants and
the elderly and the infant immunization schedule.
After that enter into the health center precisely in the waiting room. When a call for
mothers andira arrived, the mother andira then to the place of immunization, there are a
table and two chairs. On the table there are scales for infants, a variety of drugs and
vaccines for immunization. The first time to the immunization table Yusuf first to weighed
his weight, then check book immunization. Mother andira given knowledge about
immunization to Yusuf. At that time, Joseph will be given to the vaccine for polio and
hepatitis B. after think and give explanations, mrs. andira then moved to a second officer. Ie
x bu midwife, the midwife is quite friendly and patient in doing its job of view I observed.
For the first vaccines are hepatitis B, is given by injection in the thigh of the baby. The
second is for a polio vaccine that is given through oral intake as much as two drops. When

done vaccination midwife informed about the side effects of immunization of fever in
children and ask if the baby still has a remedy for fever or not? and the mother replied
andira still have it at home. The midwife also informed about the rules of the use of the
drug. After completing the immunization. Mrs. Andira back reminded about the
immunization schedule for babies.
After following the process of immunization me and my team to the indoor poly maternal
and child health. There we were greeted by a midwife and a good and friendly to us. We
welcome melilhat-entry and look around from the room. Looks neat in my opinion, only
drawbacks to the patient's bed in a torn check big enough. So I think it is appropriate that in
the locker. To my knowledge, I saw a wide variety of tools to prevent pregnancy or in
Indonesia called the family planning program or in short kb. We are welcome to ask us
about your heart's content poly maternal and child health. But because keterbatan our
knowledge, we only ask things lay alone. Like, what kind of drugs to program kb? how
long span of time is needed for each injection? ext. but the end of the midwife is familiar
with our ignorance. With initiative midwife b is then explained to us about contraceptives
in health centers tabaringan. according to the explanation midwife b, there are two types of
contraceptives that is, for men and women. for women can through hormone injections,
installation tools and IYD spiral-shaped chips. while men do not overly explain it, because
we all laugh about it. The next day we went on to poly general observations. tabaringan in
health centers, poly children and adults join into a general clinic. from our observations,
doctor c has fulfilled what it teaches us. namely to four elements that must be applied in
close contact with the patient. C invite doctors sitting patient friendly manner, then began
doing a history of the patient. after feeling quite to the information provided. emberikan
doctor then prescribed medications, with the first to provide information to the drugs given.
Patients then out of the room and bring the prescription to the pharmacy space, which is
right next to the common poly finances. Doctor C said, it shall poly to poly adults and for
children it's different, it's just the limitations of facilities, both types of these patients are in

the same poly. poly room in general looks good enough. Supporting facilities has also been
quite good. After the poly to the public, we headed poly teeth. We just noticed that the room
in poly teeth, looked wide range of facilities for patients. We are not so familiar with all the
facilities that were there. That day we were waiting for the observed patients, but still none
of the patients who came on the second day of observation. We finally decided to say
goodbye and rushed to the campus, to attend college.
The third day we were in the clinic tabaringan, we just focus on taking pictures and
video to report the results of our observation. Looks like the days before when I was in the
clinic. The patient is not too crowded, and on notice on Monday by a physician, tell us on
that Thursday is a day of visits for pregnant women advanced. Most patients who come also
patients who will megambil regular medication for his illness. I then headed to the
pharmacy space, because I have not done obsservasi in this place. In the room there are
various kinds of drugs pharmacies. I then asked whether all the drugs that are here are
sufficient or not, and the head of the pharmacy was said has been fulfilled. Not all diseases
can cure provided by health centers. Only the list of diseases that must they serve, but
sometimes doctors prescribe the medicine can be purchased at a pharmacy outside the
clinic. Before saying goodbye we were finally able to meet with the heads of existing health
centers. We also back in the given direction and knowledge of existing health centers
tabaringan long enough in the market. We in the flow chart tell the service flow in the
clinic. In every part of the health centers has SOPs respectively. After that we say goodbye
to home.

Conclusion :
From my observation , and based on the description above . I can conclude that the health
center has a number of shortcomings tabaringan still , was for many days in the observation
I observed various aspects of medical ethics , especially in the patient service , where ethics
was seen more focus on patients' rights . And I saw the doctors there already doing what is
best , but still needs to be improved because there are still many patients who berlum get
maximum service . I hope in the future tabaringan public health center can fix what is
missing and I hope the health center may be a priority .
