Aviation Maintenance
June 1st-3rd New Iberia
Grades 9-12 $105 8-12:30pm
Are you interested in learning about airplanes and how
they work? Have you ever flown before? Not only will
you have a chance to take flight but you will learn about
all the working parts of small to large aircraft carriers. In
this camp, campers will learn to repair engines and the
proper way to check an aircraft before takeoff.

Have aspirations to attend college upon graduation from
high school? Now is the time to start preparing for you
future. In this camp, campers will be given instruction and
guidance on proper ways to study and given material to
prepare for taking the ACT exam.

ROLLER COASTER DERBY

STEM Camp June 1st-3rd Lafayette


Grades 6-8 $105 8-12:30pm
Have you ever been to an amusement park and
been amazed by all the roller coasters? Ever
wondered how they are built? In this camp, campers
will built their very own roller coaster out of paper,
yes paper. Campers will use their engineering skills to
build the biggest and best roller coaster that can hold
a marble for racing. Computer software will also be
used to show campers how to design a roller
coaster virtually.

Automotive : June 6th-10th Lafayette
Grades 11-12 $105 8-12:30pm
Do you enjoy working with your hands? Are you
creative and interested in producing and inventing? At
these camps, campers will be introduced to different
areas of manufacturing and engage in hands-on
projects. Campers will get the basics of industries
including Welding and Automotive Technology. This
camp is designed for both male and female, grades 11
and 12. *Any student participating in Automotive Camp
would be beneficial if you have a vehicle.

Robotics

Robotics June 1st-3rd Lafayette


Grades 6-8 $105 8-12:30pm
Campers will be introduced to a better understanding
of the fundamentals of robotics, basic programming
and robotic operations. Along with programming, each
camper will be provided with basic electronic kit
construction skills that include soldering/de-soldering
and components testing skills.

FUTURE CSI LAB TECH

Forensic Science June 13th-17th New Iberia


Forensic Science June 20th-24th Lafayette
Grades 6-8, 9-10 $105 8-12:30pm
Merging the study of biology and chemistry together
with law enforcement has become a leading job in
todays industry. Analyzing evidence to solve a crime,
identify victims and convict or exonerate suspected
criminals are skills the campers will learn when solving
their own cases. Campers will learn about
finger printing and will use analytical thinking to piece
together the puzzle to solve the crime.

COOKING WITH STYLE

Culinary Arts : June 20th-24th Lafayette


Grades 9-12 $105 12-4:30pm
Campers will learn basic techniques in cooking with that
will make their families jump for joy when tasting their
creations. Campers interested in attending should bring
an apron to protect their clothing.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE

Art/Drama/Poetry : June 1st-3rd Lafayette


Art/Drama/Poetry : June 27th-30th Lafayette

Have an interest in the fine arts? Want to express
yourself through art, poetry or acting? During the 3 day
camp, campers will learn about different types of
writing and new artistic flairs of art. During the 4 day
camp, campers will write short skits and create stage
ambiance for a grand performance on the last day.

Cost: $105
Take an adventure into the world of engineering with
this new STEM-Tastic camp that will teach campers
basic engineering practices to create solutions to
brainteasers presented to them. During this camp,
our campers will design a new project each day and
learn how it relates to everyday real-world
experiences. Campers will work with a wide range of
materials including everyday household products.

APP MAKER/WEB PAGE DESIGN

Downloaded all those apps for your phone and ever
wondered how they are made? Visited that Minecraft
website and thought to yourself you could have
created it yourself? Campers will learn the fundaments
of web page development, explore applicable software,
learn how to write code and ultimately create their
own web page and iPhone/Android App.

VIDEO GAME MAKER

Do you enjoy playing video games? Well, why not try
something different this summer? Come join our I.T.
camp and learn the basic concepts to creating your very
own video game. Using computer software to create
3D and 2D dimensions, campers will be in complete
control to design backgrounds and characters. Campers
will have designed their very own video game created
by them by the end of the week.

BE A LIFE-SAVER

Are you interested in learning how you could save the life of a
loved one? Do you want to earn money as a babysitter? Are you
interested in becoming a healthcare professional?
Campers will be taught CPR and will earn a certified CPR card
from the American Heart Association. Basic first-aid instruction
as well as ways to recognize early signs of stroke and heart
attack. Campers will learn care and treatment for those with
diabetes, insect and snake bites, heart disease and a host of other
medical conditions. Upon the end of the week, campers will be
visited by professional healthcare providers.
