What is the meaning of the word "bokachoda" in Bengali?

Whats the origin of this one of most popular Bong word?. How did the word came
into usage ? What did the inventor of this word intended to mean? I saw it as
a most popular spice of tongue amongst my Bong friends. I do not see any Hindi
equivalent.. There is no "Chootiya choda " but there is "Burh buck." I have much
deeper curiosity on this.

Expletive alert: cuss word ahead.
Bokachoda in Bengali means stupid-fucker, or one who screws stupid people and is
stupid by association.
If somebody called you that, you should probably do something about it.
Also, if you value your physical well-being, do not use the word lightly or band
y it about.
That's about it.

It's a swear word which literally translates as "fool fuck". It's of common usag
e among friends during a lighthearted conversation(where it means nothing;in fac
t in Bengal, the closest of friends keep throwing this word at each other during
conversation) but is taken as an insult otherwise.

'Boka Choda' when you translate in Bengali means 'Foolish Fucker'. But the word
has different meaning. It originates from Bihar where Boka implies a goat. So it
means 'Goat Fucker'. Absolutely illogical right? But slangs are like that only.

I saw some literal translations of the word here.So I'll not get into it,instead
try to add a new piece of information which is equally important if not more.
When we use 'bokachoda' we mean the 'boka' part only and not the '
choda'.And you can trust me because I use this word a looooooooooooooot.(Boka co
rresponds to fool in bengali.) Virtually, we can add this 'choda' suffix(or what
else should I call it?) to almost any adjective without changing the meaning b
ut implicating some extra level of disgust in it.
For example, if you call somebody 'khapachoda' (khapa=crazy/brainless in ben
gali) you will be meaning 'khapa' only but with extra disgust.
Sometimes though rarely,'choda' need not mean disgust also. Anyway that depe
nds upon how one is saying it.

Hope this helps...........

As usual in all Bengali expletives, no one knows the origin. Apart from the most
common explanation cited in all the responses (except for the one where it's su
pposed to mean goatfucker), there is another interpretation (has to be because n
o one knows the origin). It means when two fools (Boka) screws (literally fucks
hence the choda), their offspring is called a Bokachoda. Thus, in one fell swoop
, the entire family is pulled into an insulting expletive.

Boka means fool. Choda means Fucker.
So BokaChoda can be interpreted as
1. One who has had a sexual intercourse with a fool.
2. Who is a foolish fucker.
3. One who fucks in a foolish manner.
