Alfie Weare Evaluation

Paragraph 1
My advert starts off with a paragraph mentioning the
interview that will be shown. This is then followed by a
backing track and the question typed out. The footage of
the answer to the question shortly follows the question.
This is then repeated until the end of the advert. I would
like the audience to realise that buying pirating films or
actually pirating them their selves is bad and illegal. I feel
like I have achieved it because in the advert the two
people got electrocuted when they said something good
about it. My advert is an interview (Q+A). It id appropriate
because its an interview which is realistic.
Paragraph 2
The purpose of anti piracy is clear in the advert because
when the actor says something good about pirating films,
they get electrocuted and this got the point across that it
isnt something you should be doing. The music worked
well with the advert because it had a strong beat and I feel
that it gets the attention of the viewers. The lighting is
good as you can see everything really clearer. I used
natural lighting from the sun.
Paragraph 3
I feel like my intentions as to what my advert was meant
to be has become a reality because I feel that people will
watch it and actually realise that they are in the wrong.
The changes I made was I re-filmed all of the footage of
the answers as they wasnt really loud and they could
have been clearer due to background noises.
Paragraph 4
My advert is appropriate for anyone to view, as there is no
explicit language or content. I feel like I have appealed to
people who pirate films as its obvious what the advert is
about. I feel like I could have improves the actor as you
can see that he started to laugh when he was getting
electrocuted. Next time I will make sure all my footage is
as good as it can be and make sure the acting is really
believable.

Paragraph 5
The feedback I got from peers was that they liked the
music in the background and the overall concept. They
also like how the camera was focused right on the actor
and no one else. This gave it an effect of importance. The
improvements I can make on the advertisement are, I can
make the people speak clearer and louder. To do this I
would need to re-film the footage of the actor answering
the questions. To further improve it I could do different
camera angles and make the background nose less
noticeable.
Paragraph 6
I have improved from other moving image work e.g. music
video because the camera is a lot more focused and the
voices are clearer. I have also improved because all of the
background that I use are all real and are not green
screened. The camera is also not shaking, as the tripod is
in a stable position.
