THE BRAND

KAMANGA WEAR IS A ZAMBIAN ETHNIC ECLECTIC READY-TO-WEAR BRAND THAT OFFERS AN

ALTERNATIVE TO INTERNATIONAL MASS PRODUCED GARMENTS.

KA M ANGA WEAR
We incorporate Chitenge (African Print) and other locally available fabric with western design concepts to create
unique looks that are current and trendy yet unmistakably afro-centric.
Our aim is to create outfits that are comfortable and easy-to-wear but still versatile enough to mix and match; dress
up or down; wear on weekends or to work. We achieve this by creating statement pieces that can be worn with classic
pieces to create vibrant wearable styles that remain current, trendy and fashionable.
Our target market is trendy yet not conformist, has an appreciation for culture but remains open minded and able to
embrace and diffuse change. Individuals who subscribe to the Kamanga brand seek a more diverse way to express their
personalities while not being afraid of making that occasional but necessary statement to establish their individuality.

THE DESIGNERS

The designers behind Kamanga Wear are Christina Syafunko (left) and
Donna Mshanga (right).
Christina studied fashion design at Midrand Gradute Institute in South
Africa and graduated with honours. She also has a business diploma from
the Assosiation of Business Executives (ABE) from UK. She is the Managing Director at Kamanga Wear.
Donna studied fashion design at Evelyn Hone Collage in Zambia. She is
currently the Creative Director at Kamanga Wear. A natural creative she
has participated in many trade shows and has won several fashion awards.
