THE COURAGE TO TEACH

Teachers are the noble of all nobles. This phrase maybe a bit too mainstream but this
phrase until now lives up to its reputation.
As a future teacher, we should take it in ourselves the dos and donts of being a teacher.
Some people are born to teach, while others must constantly strive to reinvent themselves and
recreate their lessons in the perpetual pursuit of perfection. It is an ever evolving yet challenging
and lifelong learning environment of which we are an integral part. This is what makes teaching
a very challenging yet worthy profession of all. Because teachers does not only teach for the sake
of their job; hence they teach to help other people achieved their life goals and dreams. Also,
they have multiple roles to play in their students lives a counselor, parent, friend and many
more. They shape the mind, heart and soul of an individual. For without them there will be no
engineers, doctors, nurses and many more.
When I am reading Dr. Koos statement, I feel inspired because shes one of those
persons who is so dedicated to her job that shes willing to set aside all of her personal problems
just to fulfill her duties. Upon reading that paragraph, I have realized that nowadays there are
only few teachers who is just like Dr. Koo. Also, the other things she have mentioned in that
article really describes on what a teacher should be. Because not everyone can be a good teacher.
Thats why when I have read Dr. Koos statement regarding the 6 reasons of what makes
a good teacher. Theres something inside me that makes me want to be like her also. She truly is
an inspiration and a role model to everyone.
