Subjective Questions
Direction (Q. Nos. 1-3) These questions are subjective in nature, need to be solved completely on notebook.

The shadow of a tower is found to be 60 m shorter, when the suns altitude changes from 30 to 60, then find the height
of a tower from the ground.

The tower of height b subtends an angle at a point O on the level of the foot of a tower and at a distance a from foot of
the tower. If a pole mounted on the tower also subtends an equal angle at O, then find the height of the pole.

If angles of elevation of the top of a tower from three points (collinear) A, B and C on a road leading to the foot of the
tower are 30, 45 and 60 respectively, then prove that AB : BC = 3:1
