relay media sources that were relevant to the course.

Google+ helped students and their professor to view assignments and coursework even
when they did not physically meet for class.

Social Media can sometimes distract students from their work. Also, not everyone is
familiar with Google+ and may require assistance.

Middleton uses Remind to notify parents of cancelled practices, missed assignments, etc. He
also uses Remind as a way to keep his students updated on whats going on in their classroom.

Remind makes it possible for last-minute changes to be known to all.

By using Remind, it is easier for parents to stay involved in their childs education.

The drawbacks are few, however, it is possible that not every parent would have access to a
mobile device or computer.

By facilitating discussion and collaboration between students in their classrooms and their
counterparts in different countries, Mayos students were able to form thoughts, focus attention,
and make connections.

Twitter made it easy for the students to find and communicate with one another for free.

By being able to discuss topics with students from other countries, Mayos students were in a
roundabout way able to learn more about the views of students from around the world.

The teacher and students must take the time to create and maintain their accounts. There may
also be a slight language barrier.
