Purpose of the Job

Improve and maintain Cutting dept. efficiency and
productivity with Quality
Primary Goals
Achieving efficiency & Forecast in
cutting dept.

Increase and maintain cutting dept efficiency

to 70% to meet the sewing dept. capacity.
And to maintain the required WIP for sewing
and other dept.s.

Plan and Utilize cutting table

capacity

Calculate the plan daily basis and monitor

cutting table utilization, maintain a report for
table Idling due to various reasons.

Maintain the Cutting cadre capacity

utilization 100%

Control following key indicators

Department Absenteeism 03%
Department Labor Turn over 01%
Carder capacity utilization 100%

Pre planning and preparations for

styles

To highlight Critical styles, identify the best

methods to ensure that new styles are cut at
a minimum delay.

Achieving Cut program

Maintain the following reports to achieve the

Fabric Utilization report

Key Job rolls

Involve in cutting production forecast daily and weekly.

Forecast, monitor and control fabric utilization and requirements.

Involve in Quality issue with the Q.A. Dept. and get quick solutions.

Make necessary arrangements by co-coordinating with relevant dept.s for a

smooth cutting process and line feeding.

Monitor low performance areas in cutting dept. and increase performance by

involving with Industrial Engineers.

Maintain hose keeping in the working area.
