Teaching Point
Today I want to teach you how to properly order multiple
adjectives in the same sentence.
Procedure
Connection:
Review Never Open Smelly Shoes After Cleaning Out
Messy Places
- Google Slide
Give few verbal examples of nouns with adjectives and
ask the students to determine the category.
Teaching Point: Unpack the teaching point.
Teach: Review the definition of an adjective (a word that
describes a noun)
Display the second to last slide of the Google Slides and
discuss why the order of adjectives is so important.
Active Engagement:
Students will practice using the proper order on the
second to last slide.
Link: Use the saying to help you to determine the correct order
to put the adjectives in each of the five sentences on the exit
ticket.
Exit ticket formative
Students will then use the final slide to circle each of their
adjectives using the correct colors from the slide and
determining if they are in the correct order or not.
Assessment
Students complete an exit ticket

yesterday within small groups to peer edit one another.
Teaching Point: Unpack the teaching point.
Teach: Review the definition of an adjective (a word that
describes a noun)
Review categories of adjectives using the mnemonic
device in the google slide presentation.
