A. Establishing a Purpose for the Lesson
Students share their knowledge on the inauguration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
B. Presenting Examples/Instances of the New Lesson
1. Teacher explains the activity.
2. Students group themselves into five teams with eight or nine members each.
3. Teacher explains each of the specific tasks:
a. Group One Think of five problems in the country which you think the president should
address first.
b. Group Two Think of five interesting facts about the president.

c. Group Three Think of five misconceptions about the president.


d. Group Four Think of five opinions you have about the president.
e. Group Five Think of five questions you would ask the president should you meet him one
day.
4. Students collaborate with each other in making their lists.
5. Students present their reports. They answer questions the Teacher has for clarification.
