City Driving Mean: 21.4mpg

Highway Driving Mean: 29.6mpg
These values are different because in the city you are on and off the gas a lot and you also sit at
streetlights way more than you do on the highway where you are usually continuously at a high
speed and consistent with the gas.
We could make our sports cars run on hybrid engines that can still make the power that they
want them to it's not like it hasnt already been done, the Mercedes SLS AMG was made into an
all electric sports car that actually outran the combustion engine version. We could also have
bigger shopping centers that are all in one central location and then the other ones are spread
out further so we can put larger roads that you can do highway speeds on. The government
could also make the speed limits faster if they kept up with the roads and had them all super flat
and smooth so there couldn't be any imperfection in the road that could mess up your car like
potholes and steep dips.
Median City: 21mpg
Median Highway: 28.5mpg
In this case the average of the data is slightly better to speak on since they are higher so there
isnt an advantage of speaking on the median over the mean.
There is no correlation for price and fuel economy, it doesnt make sense for a cars fuel
economy to have anything to do with the price of the car
There is a positive correlation between vehicle weight and the price, it could be that it cost more
because there is more materials in the car and those materials cost money which make the car
heavier and cost more
There is a negative correlation between the cars weight and fuel economy, it makes sense
because the more a car weighs the harder the engine has to work to move the vehicle therefore
it uses more gas to move the car the same distance

We could reduce the impact of vehicles by carpooling sometimes so there are less cars on the
roads. We could also make more appealing hybrid engines because the only hybrids that are
really available to the general public is things like the toyota prius, and its not a very appealing
car. Lastly we could also ride more public transportation like the train or the bus, it would just
keep more car off the streets.
