1. Let p, q, r denote the following statements:

p : Maths is good for me.
q : Assignments are better than chocolate cake.
r : MATH120 is my favourite subject.
(i) What is p in English?
(ii) Rewrite the statement If Maths is good for me or assignments arent better
than chocolate cake then MATH120 is my favourite subject in terms of p, q,
r and logical connectives.
(iii) Use De Morgans Law to find the negation of the statement Maths is good
for me or MATH120 is not my favourite subject. Write your answer in
(grammatically correct) English.

2. Show that

(ii) (p q) is logically equivalent to p q.
