Procurement Certificate received in sealed cover will be entertained and sometimes

confirmation has been sought from Jurisdiction Central Excise Authority regarding
genuineness of the Procurement Certificate.
3(b). Letter is being sent to Superintendent In charge of the unit regarding clearance of
:'"goods against particular Procurement Certificate & Date mentioning name of the
Importer, Bill of Entry No. & date, Description of goods, Quantity of goods,
Assessable value, Duty Foregone.
3(c) To ensure that Re-warehousing certificate is received within 90 days of the issue of
the Procurement Certificate, Record has been maintained for this purpose.
