ABSTRACT
The researcher created a liquid plant fertilizer out of Seaweed extract. The researcher
used mung beans to test if the liquid plant fertilizer will make the plants growth healthy
and fast and recorded the results day by day. The researcher soaked the seaweed with
filtered water for few days which resulted to the seaweed extract. The seaweed extract
was combined with water again with the ratio of 1:3 (seaweed is to water). The
researcher sprayed the fertilizer to the plant and observed its growth. The results
showed that the seaweed fertilizer made the growth of the plant better than just basic
water. Seaweed, which has a lot of vitamins has helped in the nutrient intake of the
plants. Water has been used to dissolve some of its major nutrients and thus was
watered onto the plant. The seaweed shows high amounts of Manganese, Sodium and
Magnesium along with water itself. Both the plants had the same color and the
researcher was left with the impression based on the physical characteristics that the
plant applied with seaweed fertilizer looked healthier than the plant applied with ordinary
water.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
The study was made possible with the guidance and assistance of several
people whose time and efforts have been most significant in the preparation and
completion of this study.
Initially, the researcher would like to acknowledge and extend gratitude to Ms.
Ma. Lou A. Bucane, biology teacher, whose sincere and modest supervision has
enabled the researcher to persist through the hardships the researcher has undergone
in the completion of the investigatory project paper.
The researchers parents namely Mr. and Mrs. Sanchez, who have been there in
continuous support of their childrens achievements.
Above all, to the Lord God Almighty whose greatness has presumed all cause
and without whom the efforts and perseverance of the researchers would have led to
nothing, for his gift of wisdom and understanding to the researcher.
And to every friend and loved ones who were not mentioned here, the
researchers would not be able to thank them enough for the moral support they have
bestowed upon them.
The researcher would like to thank their deepest thanks to all the people who
cooperated in making the Investigatory Project possible.
