A Christians prayerful response to the true and living God includes faith,
worship, confessions, adoration, praise, thanksgiving, and dedicated
action. (You will learn more about this in Bible 800.) When the content of our prayers is motivated by love and confidence in God, we can rest assured that confirmation is on the way. God knows what we need before we pray, but sometimes our prayers are unanswered because of hindrances to praying. Because God is holy, loving, and wise, he will not grant every request in prayer.
