My possible postsecondary program...

My possible post-secondary program...

The post-secondary institution

that I chose to study as a sports
medicine doctor was the
University of British Columbia
(UBC); specifically the Allan
McGavin Sports Medicine
Center.

Because this is a very competitive program, it is

important to have a high GPA in high school.

In order to earn your Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine

(CASM) diploma, you must complete all of the following:

1. Earn a baccalaureate degree, preferably for a

science (e.g. biology, chemistry)
2. Complete 3-4 years of a Medical Doctor degree
program
3. Complete post-graduate training in a specialty
program (e.g. family practice, pediatrics,
orthopedics)
