Foundation beam
The structure of the building consists of reinforced concrete frames and the plan view at
level 0,00 is given in Figure 5.1, with the distances between axes according to the table 5.1.
The cross section of each column is square 40x40cm. The values of the internal forces at the
base of each column will be determined according to the indications in the table 5.2. The site
conditions are given by the borehole record no.1.
The following activities are required to be completed:
The design of a foundation beam (...................) in the following stages:
- Geotechnical design (DA.................);
- Structural design Bleich method, continued with the reinforcing design;
- Reinforcing plan.
