The inmate first went to prison in 1991 for robbing two victims at gunpoint saying, Hey, give
me your money or Ill kill you. He violated parole in 1995 and could have been returned to
prison in 1996 for his second felony conviction but was given Felony Probation by the court. In
2005, he was again sent to prison for 7 years for domestic violence when he struck the victim
multiple times, threw kitchen knives at her and held a knife to the victims throat saying, If I
cant have you, then no one will. For the commitment offense he was eligible for a Three
Strikes sentence but convinced the sentencing judge that transporting methamphetamine was
not worth sending him to prison for the rest of his life, so the judge struck three of the inmates
four Strike priors.
