MARKETING CHALLENGE CAMPAIGN AT FEP 40%

(10 % Presentation; 15% Bazar; 15% Write-up)

Prepare a group project assignment for any product or service that you will be selling
at an event in your university campus (FEP, UKM). The proposed event is a Bazaar to
be held in April 2016 (2-3days). You may choose to sell any product from the following
category:
a. Personal care product
b. Food item (pre-cooked as you are not allowed to cook at the foyer)
c. Computer accessories
d. Clothing and accessories
e. Electronic gadgets
f. Stationary
g. Services

You may sell any other product or service besides the ones mentioned above.
However you MUST obtain permission from your lecturer before embarking on your
project.
The main objective of this project is to allow students to learn about the market
place and indicates how a firm plans to reach its marketing objectives. It contains
tactical guidelines for the marketing programs over the planning period.

Your written report will have the following sections/aspects:

Title Page

Executive Summary / Abstract

Table of contents

Introduction

SWOT analysis

Strategies: Products, Price, Place and Promotions

Conclusion

References

Appendices

REQUIREMENTS
1. Your group project assignment must be in a formal report format.
2. Each group MUST not be more than 10 students
3. Your work should be no more than 20 pages (not including appendices and
references). You may include diagrams, figures, and appendices in the report.
4. Marks will be awarded for originality of ideas, innovativeness and creativity.
5. Your font size for the report will be Times New Roman 12 and you are to use
1.5 spacing for report writing.
6. Proper APA referencing system should be ensured.
7. Avoid errors in grammar and spelling.

Note: There will be three (3) sets/groups of students for this course; during the event all sets will be
given a place near the FEP foyer to conduct their marketing activities and campaigns (Students need to
work in a team to come out with creative and innovative ideas to represent their set). There will be
judges to evaluate the strategies and crowd during the event.
