Results

As a result of the summer reading camp, we hope to close the

gap in learning that often happens during summer months. We
also hope to give children things to do with their parents during
the summer, to continue learning and also promote parental
responsibility and involvement.

Questions:
When should we be doing this?
How should we be staffing this?
Where should we be doing this?
Do we want this to be a kids and parents event? Or just
kids?

Constraints:
Access to classrooms and kitchens,
Balancing start dates with other Americorps literacy
activities
Number of families attending
Snacks that can be provided
Budget
Inability to serve all kids due to different end dates, and
fluctuating attendance
