finish in a cooperative group
setting.

Anticipatory:
Students will compose a
paragraph that will utilize the
writing process,
comprehension of vocabulary,
and will be able to
appropriately respond and
receive peer revisions.

Modeling:
Supporting ideas (planning
paragraph) example/outline.
Teacher will walk through a
sample outline.

Guided Practice:
Available during individual
writing time, reviewing room
during editing/brainstorming
process.

Independent Practice:
Teacher releases students to
brainstorm, outline, and draft
on their own. Will resume with
peer edits and final
drafts/presentations.

Input:
Demonstration - teacher
paragraph, listed 5 new
thematic vocabulary to be
included.
