ADVANCE PATTERN MAKER(CAD/CAM)

SYLLABUS/ CURRICULUM
This program is aimed at training candidates for the job of Advance Pattern Maker(CAD/CAM), in the
Apparel made ups and home furnishings Sector/ industry (mention name of sector/industry) and by
the end of the program aims at building the following key competencies amongst the learner:

This course encompasses 3 out of 3 NOS of Advance Pattern Maker(CAD/CAM)- AMH/Q 1101,
Qualification Pack issued by Apparel Sector Skill Council of India.

specification given
Digitize the manual pattern on the CAD
software, if applicable, as per specification

Adjust the pattern specifications as per the
standard and allowances required
Perform size wise grading of patterns as
provided in the BOM(Bill of Material)
Incorporate shrinkage in pattern grading
Determine the cut ratio plan
Perform the most efficient marker( lay
planning) according to the configuration
intended

Set Parameters on CAM as per required output


Ensure the design output is cut and hand over to
the next department
Ensure the work is saved as a back-up before
shutting down the CAD machine
Take printout of mini marker to be handed over to
the merchandiser, for reference
Shut down, after use, the CAD/CAM system
carefully and in accordance with company
instructions.
