Learn how to setup VPN connection

1. Prerequisites for Windows 8

1) VPN Client application.
2) Secure Token Web/Desktop application.
3) Correct system time.
4) .Net Framework.
5) Email Registration.
6) Host Registration.
2. Download Locations
1. Secure Token Web application (https://securetoken.ibexglobal.com/App)
2. . Net Framework (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22833)
3. CISCO 64 Bit VPN Client (https://securetoken.ibexglobal.com/Docs/VPN%20Clients/64bit/vpnclient-winx64-msi-5.0.07.0290-k9.exe)
3. Please follow below steps to install CISCO Systems VPN Client.
Go to downloaded folder location and run VPN Client.

i)

Click Unzip to start unzip and Installation will be started automatically.

ii)

Click Next to proceed with installation.

iii)

Select I Accept the License agreement and Click Next to proceed.

iv)

Click Next to start installation.

Click Browse to change default location with a new file folder location.

v)

Click Next to proceed.

vi)

Click Finish to complete installation.

vii)

Click Yes to restart system.

Restart system before running VPN Client.

4. Email Verification.
I.

Click below URL to access Secure Token Application for browser registration.

Once verified you will receive below message as a confirmation. Click OK

III.

Drag red Icon into task bar after browser verification.

5. Getting Secure Token

I.

Click red Icon in taskbar to access secure token. Type password and click Get Token to
view Token.

Click Reset Password if forgot current password.

Click OK to continue

6. Setting up VPN Client.

I.

Click below to download configuration file required for VPN Client to establish VPN
connection. Save 1.pcf file in a file folder.

Run CISCO System VPN Client. Click on Connection Entries menu and select Import.

III.

Go to download folder and select file (Downloaded earlier in Step 6-1) and click Open to
import.

Click Connect to establish a VPN connection.

V.

Type your Email Address and Password to establish VPN Connection..

Password: Token received earlier from secure token site in step 5-I.
