Synopsis
Therese Belivet (Rooney Mara) spots the beautiful, elegant Carol (Cate Blanchett) perusing the doll
displays in a 1950s Manhattan department store. The two women develop a fast bond that becomes a
love with complicated consequences.

Whenever Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) touches a lapel pin with the letter T on it, she finds herself
transported to Tomorrowland, a city filled with huge robots and sleek buildings. The gifted young woman
recruits the help of scientist Frank Walker (George Clooney), a previous visitor to Tomorrowland, who
years ago made a startling discovery about the future. Together, the two adventurers travel to the
metropolis to uncover its mysterious secrets.

Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) is a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl, but her world turns upsidedown when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley's emotions -- led by Joy (Amy Poehler) -- try
to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness
(Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of
Riley's mind, the only emotions left in Headquarters are Anger, Fear and Disgust.

Evolving from single-celled yellow organisms at the dawn of time, Minions live to serve, but find
themselves working for a continual series of unsuccessful masters, from T. Rex to Napoleon. Without a
master to grovel for, the Minions fall into a deep depression. But one minion, Kevin, has a plan;
accompanied by his pals Stuart and Bob, Kevin sets forth to find a new evil boss for his brethren to
follow. Their search leads them to Scarlet Overkill, the world's first-ever super-villainess.

An awkward high-school senior (Thomas Mann) and a gravely ill classmate (Olivia Cooke) surprise
themselves by becoming inseparable friends.

When astronauts blast off from the planet Mars, they leave behind Mark Watney (Matt Damon),
presumed dead after a fierce storm. With only a meager amount of supplies, the stranded visitor must
utilize his wits and spirit to find a way to survive on the hostile planet. Meanwhile, back on Earth,
members of NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring him home, while his
crew mates hatch their own plan for a daring rescue mission.

Luckily for young Arlo, his parents (Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand) and his two siblings, the mighty
dinosaurs were not wiped out 65 million years ago. When a rainstorm washes poor Arlo (Raymond
Ochoa) downriver, he ends up bruised, battered and miles away from home. Good fortune shines on the
frightened dino when he meets Spot (Jack Bright), a Neanderthal boy who offers his help and friendship.
Together, the unlikely duo embark on an epic adventure to reunite Arlo with his beloved family.

An Irish immigrant (Saoirse Ronan) in 1950s New York falls for a tough Italian plumber (Emory Cohen),
but faces temptation from another man (Domhnall Gleeson) when she returns to her homeland for a
visit.
A college freshman (Lola Kirke) cures her disappointment and loneliness by allowing herself to be pulled
into the wacky schemes of her future stepsister (Greta Gerwig).

When married couple Simon (Jason Bateman) and Robyn (Rebecca Hall) unexpectedly encounter Gordo
(Joel Edgerton), an acquaintance from Simon's past, little do they know that their perfect lives will be
thrown into a terrifying tailspin. At first, Simon doesn't recognize Gordo, but after a troubling series of
uninvited encounters and mysterious gifts, a horrifying secret emerges. As Robyn learns what really
happened between Simon and Gordo, she begins to question how well she knows her spouse.

After realizing how lonely and routine her life has become, a longtime widow (Blythe Danner) begins
relationships with two very different men (Martin Starr, Sam Elliott).
Held captive for years in an enclosed space, a woman (Brie Larson) and her young son (Jacob Tremblay)
finally gain their freedom, allowing the boy to experience the outside world for the first time.

With public anticipation running high, Apple Inc. co-founders Steve Jobs (Michael Fassbender) and Steve
"Woz" Wozniak get ready to unveil the first Macintosh in 1984. Jobs must also deal with personal issues
related to ex-girlfriend Chrisann Brennan and their young daughter Lisa. Eventually fired, Jobs launches
NeXT Inc. and prepares to release a new computer model in 1988. Ten years later, Jobs is back at Apple
Inc. and about to revolutionize the industry once again with the iMac.

During the Cold War, the Soviet Union captures U.S. pilot Francis Gary Powers after shooting down his U2 spy plane. Sentenced to 10 years in prison, Powers' only hope is New York lawyer James Donovan (Tom
Hanks), recruited by a CIA operative to negotiate his release. Donovan boards a plane to Berlin, hoping
to win the young man's freedom through a prisoner exchange. If all goes well, the Russians would get
Rudolf Abel (Mark Rylance), the convicted spy who Donovan defended in court.

Synopsis
troubled widow (Essie Davis) discovers that her son is telling the truth about a monster that entered
their home through the pages of a children's book.
A factory worker (Marion Cotillard) has just one weekend to convince her colleagues to give up their
bonuses so that she can keep her job.

Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary LEGO figurine who always follows the rules, is mistakenly identified as
the Special -- an extraordinary being and the key to saving the world. He finds himself drafted into a
fellowship of strangers who are on a mission to stop an evil tyrant's (Will Ferrell) plans to conquer the
world. Unfortunately for Emmet, he is hopelessly -- and hilariously -- unprepared for such a task, but he'll
give it his all nonetheless.

Andrew Neiman (Miles Teller) is an ambitious young jazz drummer, in pursuit of rising to the top of his
elite music conservatory. Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons), an instructor known for his terrifying teaching
methods, discovers Andrew and transfers the aspiring drummer into the top jazz ensemble,forever
changing the young man's life. But Andrew's passion to achieve perfection quickly spirals into obsession,
as his ruthless teacher pushes him to the brink of his ability and his sanity.

Ten years after simian flu wiped out much of the world's homosapiens, genetically enhanced chimpanzee
Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his ever-growing band of followers have established a thriving colony just
outside San Francisco in Muir Woods. Meanwhile, a small band of human survivors emerges, which forces
Caesar -- as leader -- to grapple with the dual challenge of protecting his people and re-establishing a
relationship with the remaining human population -- the latter being Caesar's secret wish.

Driven by an intense need for fame and validation, members of a dysfunctional Hollywood dynasty have

Oyelowo) and his followers pressed forward on an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, and their
efforts culminated in President Lyndon Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

A Russian fisherman (Alexey Serebryakov) fights back when a corrupt mayor tries to seize possession of
his ancestral home.
An aspiring musician (Domhnall Gleeson) finds himself way out of his element after he joins a pop group
led by an enigmatic figure (Michael Fassbender) who wears a giant fake head.

Ford Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), a Navy bomb expert, has just reunited with his family in San Francisco
when he is forced to go to Japan to help his estranged father, Joe (Bryan Cranston). Soon, both men are
swept up in an escalating crisis when Godzilla, King of the Monsters, arises from the seato combat
malevolent adversaries that threaten the survival of humanity. The creatures leave colossal destruction
in their wake, as they make their way toward their final battleground: San Francisco.

Eccentric British painter J.M.W. Turner (Timothy Spall) lives his last 25 years with gusto and secretly
becomes involved with a seaside landlady, while his faithful housekeeper (Dorothy Atkinson) bears an
unrequited love for him.
After Laura Poitras received encrypted emails from someone with information on the government's
massive covert-surveillance programs, she and reporter Glenn Greenwald flew to Hong Kong to meet the
sender, who turned out to be Edward Snowden.

A string of mysterious deaths leads a teenager to become suspicious of a soldier (Dan Stevens) who
showed up on her family's doorstep and claimed to be a friend of her dead brother.

When a boyfriend tricks Lucy (Scarlett Johansson) into delivering a briefcase to a supposed business
contact, the once-carefree student is abducted by thugs who intend to turn her into a drug mule. She is
surgically implanted with a package containing a powerful chemical, but it leaks into her system, giving
her superhuman abilities, including telekinesis and telepathy. With her former captors in pursuit, Lucy
seeks out a neurologist (Morgan Freeman), who she hopes will be able to help her.

Filmmaker Steve James chronicles the life of film critic Roger Ebert, especially his career highlights, his
battle with alcohol, and his sometimes ruthless rivalry with fellow critic Gene Siskel.
A recently married gay couple (John Lithgow, Alfred Molina) are forced to move into separate households
after they lose their home.

As a boy, Louis "Louie" Zamperini is always in trouble, but with the help of his older brother, he turns his
life around and channels his energy into running, later qualifying for the 1936 Olympics. When World War
II breaks out, Louie enlists in the military. After his plane crashes in the Pacific, he survives an incredible
47 days adrift in a raft, until his capture by the Japanese navy. Sent to a POW camp, Louie becomes the
favorite target of a particularly cruel prison commander.
