__________________________________________________________
I am a new teacher here at South Jordan Middle School. I was born in Chicago
and raised here in Utah. I graduated from Murray High School and then I attended
BYU for my undergraduate studies which included a double major. The first major
in Piano Performance and Pedagogy and the second was International Law and
Diplomacy with a German area studies minor. I had the opportunity to live in
Europe and study German in Vienna, Austria as well as in Germany (mainly
Hamburg, Germany). I recently went back to school and attended WGU for a
masters degree in teaching Secondary Social Studies. I have worked in Jordan
school district for several years in many jobs such as: a hall monitor, test proctor,
detention monitor, teachers assistant, assistant registrar, substitute teacher, student
teacher and now as a full-time teacher. I have 3 children and I believe a good
education is the best gift parents can give to their children.
