process all
system data and generate all system automatic alarm
functions.
b. Fire alarm loop cards.
c. Alphanumeric, backlit, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD).
d. System ALARM LED indicator.
e. System supervisory condition LED indicator.
f. System trouble condition LED indicator.
3. The FACP shall be provided with battery backup capability. The
batteries shall provide 24-hours of normal standby operation and 5
minutes of normal alarm operation at the end of the 24-hour standby
period.
4. All fire alarm control panels shall send all alarm, supervisory and trouble
actions to the main fire alarm control panel in order to achieve
centralized monitoring and control of the fire alarm system.
3.6.2.5
ADDRESSABLE SMOKE DETECTOR
1. An addressable photoelectric smoke detector type shall be provided. The
Photoelectric detector sensor shall provide an analogue measurement that
is digitally communicated to the fire alarm control panel. At the panel, the
data is analyzed and the average value is determined and stored. The alarm
or abnormal condition is determined by comparing the sensors present
value against its average value and time.
2. The addressable smoke detector shall have the following features:
Automatic time programmable sensitivity to allow setting up
sensitivity level for different times during the day.
