History
MeekahHozard,aDuros,grewupinthedesperate
slumsoftheplanetTaris,wheredailylifewasa
struggle.Thetoxicenvironment,grindingpoverty,
androvingbandsofstreetthugsmeantthatonlythe
toughest,smartest,orquickestcouldsurvive.Meekah
fellintothelattercategory,withhighlytunedreflexes
thatallowedhimtoavoidtheworsttheUndercity
couldoffer.TheHumansofTariswerecruelanddomineering,andthewealthiestofthemwouldoftencometo
theUndercitytoharass,beat,andevenmurdertheotherspeciesfoundthere.
Althoughheavoidedsuchencounterswherepossible,MeekahwasdiscoveredbyapackofrichHuman
adolescentswhochasedhimthroughtheurbanmazeontheirspeederbikes.Cornered,Meekahfeigned
beinghurtandleapedontheleaderofthegroup,killinghimwithamakeshiftknifethathehadkepthidden.
Therestofthepackran,butMeekahgrabbedtheleader'sspeederandchasedafterthesurvivors,killingthree
more.MeekahgathereduptheabandonedspeedersandcreatedhisowngangtheBloodTachsmadeup
oftough,violentnonHumanyouths.
Overtheyears,theBloodTachsgrewinsizeandnotorietyuntiltheywereeasily
themostfearedgangaround.AtfirsttheyfocusedtheirireonHumanswho
daredtoentertheUndercity,buteventuallytheytooktheirbanditrytotheupper
levels,terrorizingcivilians,hijackingexpensiveairspeeders,andstealingparts
fromworkshops.Afterawhile,variousauthorityfiguresgrewtiredofthe
numerousraidsandhighbodycount,andabountywasplacedonMeekah's
head.Ifsecuritypersonnelcouldn'tbringdowntheswoopgangleader,then
maybeotherprofessionalhunterscouldtakehimout.

PsychProfile
Meekahiscunningandwily,withakeenpredatoryinstinctforsurvival.Hehasa
notoriouslybadtemperthatquicklyflaresintoviolencewhenheisprovoked,
threatened,oreveninsulted(whethertheinsultisrealorimagined).Afteryears
ofoppressionandabuseatthehandsofHumans,Meekahsavestheworstofhisdepravationsforthem.His
wantonkillingandpillaginghasputhimbeyondredemption,andheseeshimselfasabanditking,bringing
deathanddestructiondownontherichand/orinnocentalike.

KnightsoftheOldRepublic:Meekahfitsrightintothiseraandcouldcomefromanyplanetwithalargeurban
sprawl,suchasCoruscant,NarShaddaa,orTaris.Althoughnotparticularlyinterestedincompetingforfameor
glory,Meekahcouldbefoundworkingtheswoopracingcircuit,alongwithhisgang,takingonyoungblood
lookingfortheirbreak.
RiseoftheEmpire:TheSeparatistshireMeekahandtheBloodTachstoraidRepublicfacilitiesandsupply

convoys,murdertargets,andotherwisebeathorninthesideoftheRepublic.
RebellionEra:Inthisera,Meekahchangeslittle,attackingmembersoftheEmpireorRebellionathisleisure.
Fortherightprice,he'lldodirtyworkforeithergroup,buthe'sjustaslikelytoturnonthepersonmakingthe
bribeifhefeelsthathecouldgetabetterdeal.
TheNewJediOrder:Meekahthrivesintheturmoilofthisera,andhisswoopgangcouldgrowtoaveritable
armyiflocatedonaplanetwithaweakgovernmentorlowsecuritypresence.Ontheupside,Meekahprobably
spendsasmuchtimefightingoravoidingtheYuuzhanVongastheheroesdo.

AdventureSeeds
HerearesomewaystoincorporateMeekahHozardintoyouradventures.
Swoopgangscanbefoundonalmostanyplanet,andsocanMeekah.It'snottoomuchofastretchtohave
Meekahandhisganglivingasbanditsonadesertplanetorscoutingthetradelanesofotherbackwater
worlds,lookingforeasyprey.HishatredofHumansmeansthathe'sdrawntocitiesandplanetswithlarge
populationsofthisspeciesthemoreprey,thebetter.
TheheroesarehiredasbodyguardsforaHumanambassadorwhomusttravelintothedepthsoftheUndercity
onamission.Theycomeacrossahugeaccidentinvolvingaderailedmaglevtrain.Astheytrytonavigatethis
hazard,Meekahandhiscrewattack,havingcausedtheaccidenttolureunsuspectingvictimsandblocktraffic
tomaketheirassaulteasier.
HiredtoinfiltratetheBloodTachs,theheroesposeaspotentialmemberstogainMeekah'strust.Always
cautious,theDurosleaderisrarelywithoutanoverwhelmingnumberofhisgangaround,makingastraight
attacksuicide.Theheroesmustpassseveralteststoprovetheirskillonspeederbikesandtheirwillingnessto
performviolenceandthuggery.Iftheyputupacleverruseandturnablindeyetotheactstheyareorderedto
perform,theymightbeabletogetMeekahalonejustlongenoughtocapturehim.
