Summary:popa was enacted in january 2015 to fight
terrorism and to curtail the ongoing militancy.the popa
gives extensive powers to the law enforcement agencies
regarding extensive ransacking,extensive usage of arms
and establishment of military courts.how ever this act
was for conducting speedy trails and quick progress
regarding the curtailment of deteriorated law and order
situation but it is a sad thing that not a single trail has
been conducted yet due non-availability of judges from
the government,residence problems,not providing official
vehicles etc. .most of the people currently arrested under
popa have not been accused of any charges.no he govt is
thinking to extend this two year act,so the other parties
must resist.
