INQUIRY QUESTIONS
1) What are database and how do they work with different types of software?

Ans. Database is software application which is used to store a large amount of data in an
organized way.
2)How are database beneficial for different businesses?
Ans. When it is a large business and they want to store a large amount of data, DBMS is
the best way to do so. Maybe they want to keep a record of who work for them and their
personal data the they can use DBMS.
3) What software can be used to create database, and their advantages and
disadvantages?

Ans. Microsoft AccessAdvantages: It is widely popular and it can also store up to 2 GB of data.
Disadvantages: Many users can pull data at the same time. It is only useful to small and
medium companies.
My SQLAdvantages: It is easy to install and you can also install it for a low price.
Disadvantages: For beginners it is hard as you have to know SQL. You can not store large
databases efficiently.
What are the objects used in Microsoft access, and how do they work?
Table-Data is stored in the tables
Queries-It is used to extract data from the tables
Form-It is a screen which is used to enter data.
Reports-It is a formatted result of database queries.

INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
1. Will give us the information that we need?

Yes I will give the information needed to make the Database Management System
(DBMS).
2.What would you like to see in the DBMS?
Who borrowed what and when. What books are available and how many copies. Also a
short summary on the book.
3.Who should be able to access the DBMS?
Librarians and sometimes students and teachers.
4.How do wnat the DBMS to be organized?
Divide it into classes and books. In classes, grade and furthermore section and the
students in that section. Books can be divided into primary section, middle school section
and senior section. Then in the three again divided into genres. Then finally the book,
the summary of the book (includes author, publisher and etc.) and who borrowed it.

CONCLUSION
I know what to put in the Database Management System. I know the clients
requirements. I also have a rough sketch of how the DBMS is going to look at the end
(final product). I know all the subcategories and the categories and what should be
shown when opened by anyone. I think that I am going to enjoy this process of making
the DBMS for the school library.
