Course Objective:
When students hear about plumbing one of the first taught that comes to mind is dealing with
feces. This course is designed in such a way so students can understand that attending a
technical institution that offers technical subjects is one of the most beneficial advantages to
any student. In the technical field any person who has acquired any vocational or technical
discipline can either save money or make a lot from his or her skills. The student should be
able to repair or replace any plumbing fixture or pipe line.
General Objective:
1. To help students adopt good safety, health and environment practices.
To provide students with the basic concept and principles used in the field of plumbing.
3. To provide students with knowledge of the different types of materials that pipes are made
from, the different sizes of pipes and the different systems to which they belong.
To provide students with knowledge of the different plumbing systems and their usage.
5. To provide students with knowledge of theory and practical applications to nurture the well
balanced vocational/ technical individual.
6. To provide students with basic fundamentals of the different fixtures and how they must
repair them.

Course Expectations:
Students are expected to adhere to rules set in place by the school.
2. Students are required to show respect to self, classmates, teachers, visitors and all other
members of staff.
3. Students are required to be on time at all time with all require and relevant equipment to
class.
4. Come into course with an open mind to learn the information that the teacher is teaching so
that he or she can apply themselves theoretically and practically.
5. All safety rules and regulations apply at all times.
