Expected Behaviors

What is the procedure for classroom discipline?

The procedure for handling disruptions depends on each individual situation and will be left up to my
judgment on a case-by-case- basis.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO BREAK A RULE

First Time:

Verbal reprimand/warning

Second Time:

Student/Teacher Conference

Third Time:

Telephone call or note to parent/guardian

Fourth Time:

Counselor/At-Risk Coordinator referral

SEVERE DISRUPTIONS

STUDENT SENT IMMEDIATELY TO THE OFFICE

ISS/SUSPENSION- Students assigned to ISS/Alternative will be given work but being sent to
ISS/Alternative will prevent you from participating in class and much of the material will be missed.
Students assigned to ISS/Alternative are expected to compensate and be prepared to take tests and
make up any work that was missed or that was not sent to ISS/Alternative immediately upon return.
