COVERAGE
TheGroupStudentPersonalAccidentCoverageprovidesprotectiontostudents:
Whetherinoroutofschoolpremises;whiletravellingtoandfromschool;while
travellingtoandfromschoolsponsoredandsupervisedactivitywhetheritmaybe
duringorafterschoolhoursorondayswhenschoolisnotinsession;
Whiletravelinginpublicorprivateconveyanceusedforlandandseatravel;
Whiletravelingasafarepayingpassengeroranycommercialscheduledflights.
Italsoincludesnaturalcalamities,drowning,dogandsnakebites.
EXCLUSIONS
Anylossordisabilitycauseddirectlyorindirectly,whollyorpartlybysuicideorself
inflictedinjurieswhilesaneorinsane,insurrection,wardeclaredorundeclared,participatingin
riot,committinganassaultorfelony,injuriessustainedwhileundertheinfluenceofprohibited
drugsoralcohol.
Motorcycling (including pillion riding), any form of racing other than foot,
hazardous/professional sports, service in the armed forces, flying (except as farepaying
passenger).
BENEFITS:
ACCIDENTALDEATHANDDISABLEMENT
Incaseofaccidentalbodilyinjurythatwillresulttolossoflifewithin180daysafterdate
ofaccident,thepolicyshallpaytheprincipalsum.Incaseofdisablement,itprovidesamonthly
fixedamountbasedonthepolicyschedule.
UNPROVOKEDMURDERANDASSAULT
Whentheassuredisintentionallyinjuredorkilledbyanother,andtheinjuryordeathis
nottheresultofhismisconductorprovocationbutisunforeseeninsofarasheisconcerned,and
occurswithouthisagency,theinjuryordeathisanaccidentorcausedbyanaccidentmeans,
withinthemeaningofanaccidentinsurancepolicy.
MEDICALEXPENSEBENEFIT
When by reason of an injury, the policy holder shall require treatment by a legally
qualifiedphysicianorsurgeon,confinementinahospitaloremploymentofalicensedorgraduate
nurse,theCompanywillpaytheactualexpenseincurredwithinonehundredeighty(180)days
fromthedateofaccidentforsuchtreatment,hospitalchargesandnursesfees,butnottoexceed
themaximumpayablestatedinthescheduleasaresultofanyoneaccident.
BURIALBENEFIT
Paysafixedamountasfinancialassistanceintheeventofdeathduetoaccident.
HOSPITALIZATIONCASE
Intheeventthatduringtheperiodofinsurance,theprincipalinsuredsustainsbodily
injuryandshallbenecessarilyconfinedasaninpatientinahospitalontherecommendationofa

registered medical practitioner other than himself, the company will pay the insured a
hospitalizationcashbenefitasstatedinthepolicyschedulefromthefirstdayofhospitalization.
