BOM validity maintenance - Determines that a validity period is maintained for BOMs & is must if ECM
is to be activated for BOM.
ECM active - If one activates Engineering Change Management, one can make historical changes to
BOMs with reference to a change number. (This means that the status of the BOM both before and
after the change is stored in the system.)

Base quantity
This is proposed when one create a BOM. The component quantities in the BOM items are based on
the Base quantity.
BOM status: The BOM status is used to control activities in related application areas. This default
BOM status is proposed by the system when one creates a bill of material.
Default BOM status is set as 1 - Active for Mass production.
Parameters are set as above for Praveena creations requirement.
