Literature Boxes/Book Talks

The ONLY Extra Credit Offered for Mrs. Lustigs ELA Class
How often and when can I complete extra credit?
There is only 1 way to earn extra credit in this class and you may only
complete this extra credit two times per quarter (8 times per year).
What do I need to do?
1. You will decorate a new Kleenex box (which will then turn into your
literature box) to represent ideas from a current book that you have read.
The items on the box should include:
a. The title of the book and author.
b. 2 pictures that represent the book.
c. 5 words to describe the book.
d. 2 of your favorite quotes from the book.
2. You will present your literature box to the class through a short book talk.
Give us all the details without giving away any spoilers! Your talk should
include title, genre of book, a short summary and why you liked the book.
**YOU MUST COMPLETE BOTH PARTS OF THE ASSIGNMENT TO RECEIVE
EXTRA CREDIT!
